Lair might as well be known as the Big Dragon Game. Such a name is fitting, given the scope of the project. Up until last week, it had been mired in speculation, but Sony let some secrets slip, and thankfully, Lair is looking extremely impressive, the type of first party shot in the arm that the PlayStation 3 desperately needs. In the game, you play as an unnamed male warrior struggling to survive in a war-torn world rife with peril. As two civilizations wage an epic battle for control, the man and his dragon must learn to survive in harsh conditions, all the while repelling enemy foot soldiers and other dragons. It's a hot concept, one that's been explored in other videogames, most notably Sega's Panzer Dragoon series, but where that franchise is popular for its poetic brutality, Lair's violence is much less subtle. During the course of your adventure, thousands of polygonal soldiers are going to die. People will fall off cliffs, off the backs of their own dragons (plummeting thousands of feet to their deaths), and even more will be lit on fire. It also features free roaming gameplay, which is vastly different from Panzer's limiting on-rails design.

Alex S. from Link-Cable writes: "When shopping for new video games you can often trust the name publisher or developer on the box to be an indication of the quality of the game. Names like Nintendo, Square Enix, Sony Interactive Entertainment, Capcom, Xbox Game Studios and Sega are world famous because they helped shape the industry by releasing some of the most defining video games of all time. Though sometimes even these great gaming houses stumble and put out a stinker."
Splatterhouse remake . Loved the og’s at the arcade growing up . Hell the best thing about the remake was the og,s were included . And left alive by Square . That game had so much potential , but the gameplay was worse horrendous .
I'm pretty much certain that any Sonic game that comes out will be terrible, I've not enjoyed one since the original side-scrolling days of the MegaDrive.

A reimagining of 5 disappointing video games and the masterpieces they could have been underneath other studios.
The Order has its faults yes but it had a fantastic atmosphere and some great gameplay. A game with enormous potential and far from disappointing. I say give Ready at Dawn another crack at it because I think they created an diamond with some rough edges that just needs some tlc.
The order should have had a sequel. The first one wasn't bad just needed a few tweaks.

PlayStation’s strong and impressive lineup of exclusives is probably the biggest edge it has over its direct competition in the market- a fact that has been true for as long as anyone can remember.
Ridge racer for PSP was actually good and shouldn't be on this list. I think I'm the only one that enjoyed Haze.
When this piece of flotsam indicated that "Being a clone of GTA shouldn't be that hard" I just closed the window.

Is why I'm interested in this game. My wife and I loved that game, because it was the only game that allowed you to have a dragon as a sidekick, to aerial battles, and explore huge maps. In a year or so, I'll pick up a PS3 and this game.
...but it WAS a PS2 exclusive. It was a follow-up to the PC title, Drakan: Order of the Flame, and both were made by Surreal Software. Sadly, that was the end of the franchise, so I suppose Lair will have to fill the void. I rented a game called Drakengard for PS2, but it sucked big time...nothing like Drakan:TAG . When I got my XBOX, I rented Panzer Dragoon: Orta, but was equally disappointed.
The story for Drakan:TAG was pretty cool. I don't know how far you got, but I'd recommend giving it another shot if you get the chance. :)
