Hmm, I am relatively surprised that the Xbox 360 went up by 16% compared to the PS3 that went down given the bad press around Microsoft.

xHeavYx4700d ago

Keep in mind that these numbers are just estimated they make up out of who knows where

Saints944700d ago

If it's just random numbers then why do they become approved?

TongkatAli4700d ago

These are estimated numbers right ?

gunnerforlife4700d ago

These numbers and every other number VG Charts has estimated since its creation have all come out of their ass, disagree if you want i don't care, but what i said is fact. Only am idiot would take VG Charts numbers as fact or even as proper estimates when they've been of by 100s of thousands before.

SixZeroFour4700d ago

except when sony outsells MS...then it was just a good week for sony

clrlite4699d ago

They are estimated, but are supposedly an educated estimate.

cyguration4700d ago (Edited 4700d ago )

Not surprising at all.

Don Mattrick told everyone who didn't have internet that they have a solution: The Xbox 360.

People without internet when out and bought the Xbox 360.

Concertoine4700d ago

Lol youre kidding me. 90% of the people who kept up with that kind of news in the US already own a 360.
It's because a new model of the 360 came out, and the US is microsoft's biggest market.

xHeavYx4700d ago

I think he is being sarcastic

s8anicslayer4700d ago

Because us americans like to be sh!tted on!

Hicken4700d ago

Speak for yourself. I have no such fetish.

B-radical4700d ago

People love the 360 more then they do xbox one atm funny enough tho it seems xbox one is getting more liked with each passing day, Could be its strong launch line up or the reverse policies who knows

RIP_Weazel4700d ago

What the hell happened to the PS Vita and the PSP? What the hell happened to the DS? Why PSP got WORST in a sudden ? Why the hell did DS got boost up? PS3 lost 11%? Xbox 360 got 16% and passed PS3? This is getting more crazy week by week...

punisher994700d ago

This is just sales figures from one country. No big deal here.

HammadTheBeast4700d ago

It's US, 360's always been ahead...

HALOisKING4700d ago

its looking good for the 360

mxrider21994700d ago

click global and the 360 is negative ps3 is up

JackVagina4700d ago

i seriously dont understand why there has to be multiple articles of these...

if you would just approve the worldwide one there would be no need to have USA and europe separate articles because the worldwide one has them both there...

Look I know VIII has its issues and all that but how on earth can the do big anniversary events with new artwork and merchandise for VII, IX and X yet VIII got sweet f*** all.

They could have given it something during its 25th anniversary yet all it got was a single Happy Anniversary post on their social media.

solideagle16d ago

they should know that we are OG fans of VIII as it sold truckload as well. not as much as VII or X. I personally didn't like IX but X and VI are my personal fav.

Shadow Hearts 2 covenant is another game I love. I hope one day someone can make remake, I would be delighted

Final Fantasy VIII is great and you are always the first to defend it in the comments

Crazy to think the WII is to the Switch 2, as the NES was to the WII back then. 20 Year difference.

jznrpg22d ago

My wife asks me to bust it out (heh) everyone once in a while to play bowling and tennis with the kids. There was a ton of slop on it but some good stuff as well.

Smellsforfree22d ago

Wii was great but boy howdy did it cause Microsoft to go on a dark walk with the Kinect and the disastrous XBox One launch that they arguably never recovered from.

Loktai21d ago

Not nostalgic for me.. I was there.. anyone who wasnt a little kid realized it was a gamecube with shit tacked onto it, it was the "joke" system and was well below even the switch in terms of comparing it to the latest machines at the time. The machine was well loved by young people and "casual gamers" who now remember it 20 years on, or in most cases more of its sales came in the 15-20 years ago range not right at launch- but again its not nostalgic for people who were "gamers" then really, just for those who ended up with one in their house, the games , graphics, interface and online features were archaic already in 2006.
