Fantasy Frontier, the latest title developed by Taiwanese Developer, X-Legend, is scheduled to hit beta test on July 11th.
X-Legend Entertainment, the Taiwanese developer behind Fantasy Frontier, recently posted a road map update for the game. The new weapon, shuriken, was showcased for the very first time. A speedy and ranged weapon, characters wielding the shuriken also aid in attacks by casting special ninjitsu skills. It appears the skills are conditions, such as making the target immobile.
Also known as Aura Kingdom for the English server, the preview trailer for the upcoming Scythe weapon in the Taiwan server was released recently. A long ranged weapon, this class has the unique ability to summon up to 3 different minions to do his or her bidding (well, basically attack and buffs).
After what seemed like an oddly-long wait for a Chinese language game, FFO has finally lined up a publisher in China and will begin its first round of beta in April.
Is it me or does this game look a bit too much like a Tales of game for it's own good? Not that it's a bad thing but the character designs definitely look like they've been ripped off of a tales of game and the combat looks very similar too.
