Some big news was hidden within Nintendo Japan’s latest shareholder meeting, with the nugget we’re interested in pertaining to online functionality via Miiverse and Nintendo Network on Wii U and 3DS.

With its new ways of both creating and sharing user-made content, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has become the unexpected successor to Nintendo’s beautiful disaster of a social media experiment Miiverse.
Miiverse was insanity, and it was hilarious. It had a super strange community, there’s a bunch of YouTube videos about it.
I have smash ultimate, but haven’t checked out the new update. I’ll for sure take a look.

Nintendo is preparing to make some kind of announcement about the mysterious paid membership service.
I’m not holding my breath. Sony made various improvements to PSN before PS+ became an optional thing, and even moreso before it became a mandatory thing.
Nintendo on the other hand haven’t done much to improve NS’s online before the subscription service takes effect. The NS’s convoluted way of utilizing voice chat is even more proof.
It'd going to be a step up for sure. Hopefully they listen to fans feedback on what we like or don't like. They claim that the $20 will include a lot of value. We shall see.

After shutting down a few months back, a few fans managed to collate Miiverse posts and save it on the internet.
Oh thats pretty cool, Wonder what games nintendo will make using this system?
Im looking forward to the asynchronous FPS that was just announced, "Extreme LAG".
is that screen shot a game?
