"We here at BGR love Apple products as much as the next guy, but we think this crossed the line a little bit. Thanks to tip from a close friend of the Boy Genius Report, we've uncovered a truly amazing exchange between Apple and a customer. The customer, an owner of a recently water-damaged MacBook Pro, called Apple customer care to get information about repair costs. Accepting full responsibility for the water damage, the customer was still subjected to confusing and contradictory information about the repair."

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Thanks to the slip-up of an artist working on the title, we now have more evidence that a new Injustice game is in the works.

Spiders: "We're going to cut straight to the chase so you're not left wondering: After a long period without clear answers, we have received confirmation that Spiders is being liquidated.
What does it mean? This means the company as a whole no longer exists. We'll cease our functions immediately. The planned DLC will release via Nacon, and then-- well, that's it.
We're sorry that it's come to this and would like to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years.
If you have any questions or run into issues with your games, please contact Nacon directly as we'll no longer be able to reply."
Of course they dont. If they did, the would not release the same product 5/ 6 times just to rip off first time adopters. I honestly dont understand all the Apple love recently but their customer service is downright sh!tty.
As a owner of multiple apple products (MacBook Pro, iPhone, iPods) I can honestly say Apples customer support has been good to me. Free case replacements for my macbook etc...plus having a Apple Store nearby makes it all the more easier by visiting the genius bar with issues. Haters will be haters. As for being shafted by being an early supporter of new hardware....thats what you get by purchasing launch hardware. Vista is worthless and microsoft is in no rush to fix that, Xbox 360 still has RROD issues, Sony is launching a rumble controller this month and brought down the price of the PS3 by $200 within its first year.........show me one company that "cares" about their customers and not themselves completely.
No company loves it's consumers as much as we'd like to believe. they love our money and gulibleness. a nd once in a while a petition will spark them into theowing us a bone. Apple isn't evil, they aren't the best either though
Any company that puts customer service about making money usually goes out of business soon. Or gets bought out by a company that doesn't care. It's just how the business world works. You are just a dollar sign to them.
guy pours water on his Mac.
guy gets told it's going to cost $300 just to determine the extent of his damage.
guy sends Steve Jobs an email asking if they can look at his mac, which he got wet due to negligence and he admits it, for free.
steve jobs tells him tough titty.
website says Apple doesn't care about customers, even when customer's own ineptitude is the one that screwed them.
dear Toshiba,
i took a piss on my new TV. i don't want to pay the fee to have a proffesional waste valuable time on my screwup. please fix it for free.
