GIZORAMA - Commando, Demolition Man and Top Gun are some of my favorite 80’s films of all time. Earlier this year, Ubisoft’s Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon perfectly nailed the 80’s aesthetic and atmosphere. In turn, it revived many of the older players’ heavily buried nostalgia for the neon-colored era. Most Wanted Entertainment’s Thunder Wolves tries to act as a tribute to the 80s action genre by stuffing itself with crazy, over-the-top gameplay, a heavy metal tune and a plethora of silly one-liners. Sadly, those particular elements are what hurt the game the most.
With it being a frantic week for gamers everywhere Neil “KidDogg” Taylor makes a mad run to get to the chopper as he takes a look at the arcade action helicopter title Thunder Wolves .
GG3 has another gameplay stream, despite ongoing technical issues. A slightly less stable flow is the result, but that doesn't stop the explaining of bundles like the latest Humble Weekly Sale with bitComposer Games. Arcade revival Thunder Wolves will provide the background for the explanation.

PlayDevil has reviewed Thunder Wolves for XBLA.

"Even the story harks back to the Mega Drive classics –with many of the missions being set either in the late 80’s or early 90s. There’s nukes, dictators, captured soldiers. Basically every film and game of the era has been raided for clichés- which sounds good, but things get almost too cheesy for the action to sustain."
