Geforce GTX 760 Benchmarks

Maximum PC: Today Nvidia is launching its newest 700-series GPU, the $250 GK104-based GTX 760. This is a "hard launch" as opposed to a paper launch, so you should be able to buy cards from your favorite e-tailers by the time you read this. Unlike its more expensive brethren, the GTX 770 and the GTX 780, the GTX 760 is a budget-oriented card that outpaces AMD's HD 7950 as well as its own $300 GTX 660 Ti. Nvidia says if you're looking to upgrade from a GTX 560 Ti or similar $200-ish dollar card, this is the GPU you want. After looking at the benchmark scores, it's hard to argue with that logic.

Is it time for me to upgrade from my 560Ti? Will see..

I wanna see how 3rd party design will be..

Especially the way they apply their much more efficient cooling design..

Benchmarks: GTX Titan X in SLI

PCgamer:

We’re an insatiable lot, us PC gamers. Nvidia gives us the fastest GPU that’s ever been produced and what’s my response? 'What happens if I strap two together?'

Nvidia GeForce GTX Titan X review | PCgamer

PCgamer:
"Got some spare cash burning a sizable hole in your pocket? That's lucky, because Nvidia's latest supercomputer graphics card has just arrived. This time, it's got an X tacked onto to the end. You know. For extreme."

Sounds great but I still want to wait it out for more options to become available for 4k60fps. Still arent that many monitors with 4k, 120+ fps, G sync and an IPS screen and games are just starting to offer support for it. Maybe next year things will change with Intel's Skylake, DX 12 and more new tech on its way.

For the price just buy a AR-15 or Ak 47 & a nice aimpoint or eotech for the same price. Or buy you a acog for the price cant spend this much on games when i wont use the power. My dual r9 280x cards arent being pushed right now, no reason for it but to show off lol.

AMD Taunts Nvidia Over Latest Graphics Card Controversy #IWant4GB

Of the few remaining Video Game Brand Battles, the AMD vs. Nvidia fight might be my favorite. The two graphics companies often take small swipes at each other, and usually with less restraint than console or game manufacturers. With #IWant4GB

Killa784123d ago

Ahah, that's great.

But AMD gotta up their game as well.

Dhampir4123d ago (Edited 4123d ago )

Oh how about the r9 300 series.

Nvidia has really fallen lately. G-sync forces display manufacturers to buy chips from nvidia to support their cards, and only their cards. Gameworks gets developers to use features that are proprietary to nvidia cards. They lock 3d rendering behind buying their 3d vision, and PhysX is disabled unless you only use nvidia cards. Then there is the shoddy drivers they've put out lately.

The amazing 4gb 970, which drops framerate by 50-75% if anything uses more than 3.5gb of vram, just adds more fuel to the fire.

I'd never sacrifice reliability and quality for a few extra bells and whistles.

keep swinging at each other this is the kinda fighting i like!

If thats all AMD have, they need to shut up.
Despite its flaws, the 970 rips AMD a new one. Then there's the 980...........

BC_Master_Haze4123d ago

Where it really soars above competition is overclocking. You can get 980 performance out of a 970, or better in my case :) I got fans for daaaaays
