So, this week, for the second episode of Honesty Box I've turned my attention to Sleeping Dogs; Square Enix's much loved free-roam action RPG set in a fictional rendition of present day Hong Kong.
Expect more of the same in terms of what occurred in last week's episode but with the introduction of some choice game play footage. Topics discussed include the random variety of invisible walls, car doors, basic physics, self-loathing and carjacking like a gent...

United Front Games developed a really unique experience with Sleeping Dogs, and it still holds up. Unfortunately, any hope at a sequel hinges on it getting more popular almost a decade later.

Shang-Chi star Simu Liu is working to revive the Sleeping Dogs movie and hopes its success could lead to a long-awaited Sleeping Dogs sequel.
Please do. One of my favorite games from that gen. A man who never eats pork bun is never a whole man!
Square has their own GTA and they haven't bothered making a sequel. Yet they're wasting money on nfts and live service crap.

Huzaifah from eXputer: "Sleeping Dogs from the early 2010s is one of the best open-world games out there but in dire need of a resurgence."
You say "yet" as if it's even possible anymore. United Front Games is gone, along with anyone that made this game what it is
That’s what happens when games sell poorly. And I’ve seen people wonder why people cry when a game sells badly… this is your answer.
Sleeping Dogs was a sleeper hit back then. It was fantastic. It actually still is. Would love a sequel to this, or at least a revive of True Crime series.
I think this sold well and a lot of my GTA-loving friends bought it. Asian crime is interesting, but something about the engine/graphics turned me off.
Really cool man, didn't know you could do that with the doors. Love that PS Plus had this game for free.
haha this is awesome! cant wait to see whats next!
For me, Sleeping Dogs is one of the biggest surprises of last year. Bring on the sequel!
