Alex Culafi - We spoke with The Wonderful 101 (and Viewtiful Joe/Bayonetta) Director about game design, Twitter, and Star Fox.
When you have the chance to interview such an outspoken Twitter personality as The Wonderful 101 Director Hideki Kamiya (also known for Resident Evil 2, Devil May Cry, Viewtiful Joe, Okami, and Bayonetta), you take it. So, when we had the chance at E3 2013, we made sure to take it.
Kamiya, along with his boss at Platinum Games, Atsushi Inaba, answered our questions about The Wonderful 101's themes and inspirations, game length, and even Kamiya's burgeoning social media personality.

Vice president Hideki Kamiya, director Yosuke Matsumura and producer Yuji Nakao discuss the standalone release.

Bayonetta's character design and abilities have changed a lot since the series debuted in 2009, with new costumes and dark arts in every title.

Many fans have been expressing their disappointment with Bayonetta 3. Here's why the recently released game is a clear step down from Bayonetta 2.
I thought they focused on big kaiju like fights which felt gimmicky and thy brought this new character in to try and get away from the leading star
*Spoilers*
I mean they pretty much killed 3 big characters. They killed Jeanne, Luka and Bayonetta herself and it's not the fact they died it's how they died, we've seen Jeanne and Bayonetta survive countless things yet they go out by the lamest ways possible.
"And in fact we estimate that a normal play session would be 20 hours."
Who remembers the haters on this site saying this game was only 4 hours long? 20 hours is longer than most games released these days lol
I just hope the game can go beyond its mini-game, "Tank Tank Tank"-esque connotations and concrete itself as a serious title. Knowing Platinum Games, I have no doubts, but the Wonderful 101 hasn't made much of a splash thus far.
