the last thing we need is one version of the game having patching issues andholding back content or fixes from other versions. Look at the track record of past experience iwht skyrim alone, patches were held back on certain platforms and even expansions were held back cause of technical difficulties.
some ppl may whine now but they would be really mad if they had this kind of experience when they had the game in hand

MMO are notorious for balancing issues, cross-platform play would probably only add to that.

Pricing is the interesting question though, IMO. Sony made it optional, to a degree, so on PS4 they won't get charged twice. Xbox might be a different story.

Now, if they do go with a subscription based system it really should apply to all. I don't think anyone should have to pay "twice", but all should pay, or none should as I see it. That's is better for everyone involved anyway.

I have a feeling in a year later it will go F2P.

Same with FFXIV Online.

All I want is able to share a profile across platforms, why is that hard to do? No games do that
