this game is the sh!t so much stuff going on at one time you can shoot people up part by part the world is big as hell lots of people running around shooting 40 people online so you will be done with GEOW in about a week people will be playing Resistance for years

The saying goes "don't judge a book by its cover" it takes more than pretty graphics to make a game enjoyable! GOW gets little respect from me because I don't go around claiming titles are AAA on just great graphics! Besides I have seen UT2007 and it looks to be an awesome game thus far!

Will I but GOW? Yes! But I'm withholding my judgment until I can play the game because MS and epic haven't given is a playable demo yet!

Will I but RFOM? Yes, but I'm also withholding judgement until I get to play it!

From what I've seen from both games my personal judgement this far leans towards RFOM because I have seen more that I like and I can't wait to really play online with 40 players, the enviornments look huge and there is just so much going on at one time, the weapons are innovative and I really enjoy the games this developer has made in the past!

Its clear the only thing some of you gamers enjoy is graphics. Which hardly makes some of you real gamers at all! Get over it both games can be great depending on your preference

that UT2007 will be on x360 also.they just want to push GOW first.once Gears is out an the hype has died down a bit then they'll announce UT2007 for the xbox360!!dont forget that second to halo was Unreal Championship for online game play on xbox1.

What are you talking about? I don't even see a point in your post of course we know that UT2007 will come to both consoles! And then we will have this time wasting pitiful debate about whick one looks better, ect ect ect but my point was from the videos I have seen of both GOW I prefer what UT2007 has to offer. Its all a matter of preference people! Both games CAN be great and successful on each respected console, everytime we see or hear anything about RFOM we have to hear about how GOW looks so much better and adhere to ignorant comments like RFOM looks like a PS2 title or something else childish! It get old and really diminishes what both these potential AAA have to offer gamers! Enjoy GOW and RFOM but don't act like a 12 year old in the process!

all I was doing is stating that it WILL be mulit platform. because of your statement there will be fanboys in here talking about the Ps3 has UT2007 an the x360 wont.an acting like a 12 year old I think not!! are like me and really don't care if a game supports 40 playes at the same time? to me this takes away any strategy or thinking. You don't need to find the enemy, flank, outhink them. All you need to do is run into an area and shoot for about 10 seconds and kill as many moving thigs as you can until you are killed. 4 on 4 is great 8 on 8 is probably optimal in my opinion. Any more and it loses something, it just becomes a fragfest. If that is your cup of tea the resistance looks like it will be great. Just not my style. I think that the 4 on 4 tactical gameplay would hold my attention much longer. But I don't have ADD so go figure.

Contrary to what some people may think, I beleive they would let you choose how many players can duke it out in a map. Yes,40 is the maximum number of players allowed in a map. That doesn't mean that every multiplayer session will have 40 players.

if you have seem the videos of the online play for rfom with ted and his 70 inch tv it shows in the demo just how huge these enviroments are. i thought it would be crouded too but it realy didnt seem so. and this game will obviously have its own strategy, but it will be on a higher scale due to amount of players and such. but i respect your opinion on the 8 on 8. ill be playin rainbow 6 vagas for that.

and gow dosnt realy have much better graphics people stop lie'n to yourself. and its only because of what can be done per frame. correct me if im wrong but i havnt seen more than like 9 people on screen at once, and no distructable enviroment. all the detail goes to these 9-10 players the enviroment isnt that detailed. so people shoulnt be hating RFOM for graphics. it has a lot more action there for weaker graphics and it still looks great anyways. game play i cant argue yet though.

i wonder what difficult all the rfom demos were on because they seemed hella easy. cus the AI seemed sort of stupid but also very agressive and that could be where they are going with the game. over powering the player with tons of agressive retarded aliens.

i have read all of the coments on the blog i just have to say somthing about the ps3 people are saying that the graphics aint all that ,what people are not takeing in to acount is that the developers havent had the dev kits all that long so they need to catch up a bit but give them a year with the hardwair and you will see a diffrence as you will with the 360 ,i have a 360 and its great ,i just get sick of peaple saying that one is better than the other in fact there aboute the same in spec .....so just play the games and have fun ...aint that what its all about any way.

This gen hasn't been the best for games, last gen consoles are still out there and now there's been talk of the PS6 and Xbox Two for a year or so. That said, there are usually multiple sides to decisions at that level. It could be less about not “listening” and more about differences in long-term vision for PlayStation. If true, and I'm inclined to believe it is, it goes to show that Sony lost their way when they became more western/didn't respect the PlayStation origin story. I miss the first three generations of PlayStation. The way they turned PS3 around, we knew they meant business. We were all worried for a bit there around launch. Eventually from 2008 they started shifting slowly. But since Yoshida was fired, it's never been the same. Still enjoy my PS5 daily. I got a backlog dating back to PS2 lol So I'm fine but new games aren't as appealing anymore.

It seems like we were thrown on to the worst timeline possible where everything is too expensive and the wrong people were put in positions that makes the world a shitty place. We could have had Shu as the head of PS but we got the shitty alternative. Same goes for everyone in power around the world. Doesn’t matter the company or country the majority of us got the shitty picks and the world is declining like never before. I do think PS can come out of this because of their studios, talent and IP but they need someone more in touch with gamers leading things like Shu was. They’re still the best place for console gaming imo but it could be much better than it is especially without the massive live service failures. The rest of the world I have a lot less hope for right now. Hopefully the pendulum swings back towards the good ole days but I’m preparing for the worst.

There's another guy who recently "retired" as CEO of another large gaming company, after doing a dismantling job as lead for well over a decade.

seems legit, the business man, fires the one who has ideas to move the business forward.

Jim Ryan is the reason why we are entering year 6 since the PS5 launch and many of us don't feel like the PS5 has gotten started as yet.

I hope going forward, we will see a return to form.
