STP: One of mobile’s biggest fist-person shooter franchises is revving up to drop another helping of modern military conflict on iOS gamers. In a move that surprises absolutely no one, Modern Combat 5 is in the works and it’s shaping up to be the biggest, most bombastic installment of the game to date. Gameloft had an early version on display at E3, and I was able to go hands-on with it.

WTMG's Leo Faria: "Despite being little else than a port of a mobile game, Modern Combat Blackout is quite enjoyable, especially if you’re craving for a more traditional FPS offering on the Switch. It makes up for its underwhelming visuals, framerate, and campaign mode with a decent multiplayer and great controls. It gives me hope for future Gameloft endeavors on the console, as well as alerting Activision that you can make CoD-like shooters work on the Switch. You’re losing the race, guys."

The Nintendo Switch finally has a military shooter with Modern Combat Blackout! How does it stack up compared to the likes of Call of Duty or Battlefield?
Short Pause: "Check out the first two missions of the Modern Combat Blackout campaign as well as a few rounds of its multiplayer gameplay."
