Delsin. Kicked ass and the his powers were awesome, Seems like Rock or Stone powers will also be something he gets, the stone Jump seems to be a variation to the Ice Leap Cole acquired in Infamous 2, I want them to get far more creative than just redskin the powers and adding more animations. That smoke traversing is boss. And damn Infamous looks absolutely eye melting.

I hope I don't come across as cynical, but besides the next gen upgrade and the cool smoke teleportation, I don't see what's so mindblowing (at least gameplay wise, the visuals are amazing). So far all the powers are basically smoked based versions of Cole's and climbing animations are still that floaty/jumping style, etc.

It looks like a lot of fun and it's the best (only?) "superhero" game on next gen so far, but I was hoping for something more. As someone who loves watching parkour, I was hoping they'd enhance the traversal with more realistic parkour maneuvers and add things like dual wielding powers (different ones for each hand, allowing different combinations). Maybe they will and then it would truly be my most anticipated superhero game ever.

But right now, it's not a game I'd get a PS4 for.

honestly ive been playing on a gtx680/2500k/16gb 1600 for over a year and damn, this looks so clean and dem textures. If its 1080p60fps with those graphics this cannot be done on a 7850/cheap quad core cpu. no way in hell at 60fps 1080. maybe 30 fps maybe would look like that with a 7850 but 60fps at least a 7950.
Crap my wallet is crying I was gonna get KZSF and PS+ for driveclub but now I have to add infamous to the list. And watch dogs on Steam. QQ NEED MOAR MONEY

inFamous has always looked nice but it wasnt really known for its graphics, but this is on another level level now.

I love the destruction. Pretty good for an open world game, I hope its really extensive.
When the first bridge exploded and crumbled it took me a full 20 seconds to realise my mouth was wide open. Thats a good sign.

And I would have been disappointed if the TRex didnt break. I wasnt disappointed.

And that swan dive shock attack. I saw that in the trailer and wrote it of as a cinematic but it appears to be an actual move you can do. Awesome.

Loving the quick movement teleportation and flying/hovering mechanics, it looks like a good extension of the flying in Festival of Blood which was heaps fun and handy for getting around. Hopefully by the time you upgrade you can become a full fledged comet.

Also the move where you quick shoot straight up. Its going to save all kinds of travelling time. See this is why I like sequels, they take something great, refine it and make it even better.

Cant wait for this game. Smoking is cool again.

when I saw this in the reveal I wasn't interested at all. But the more I see it, the better I feel about it. Its awesome, looks like good gameplay.

damn that looks sick, every thing looks so fluid and all the effects look great. Can't wait to see what other crazy moves you can pull off.

The graphics are nice, but there was nothing that wowed me. Nothing I haven't seen before I actually was expecting better enemy A.I to tell you the truth. To me, it was boring until that swan bomb at the end, and still there was nothing that made me excited. It reminds me to much of the first two just shinny graphics.

I told u guys that was gameplay in the trailer & I also said way before e3, not to hope this makes it as a launch title because its an open world game. I knew it would take more time to create such an awesome game. Did anyone notice how amazing the destructable environments look like. Everything looks so real. The powers are freakin awesome. Like nightcrawler but way more badazz. I feel like this will be the GTA of super hero games & seattle & nirvana is a win win. Day freakin one.

That was just...... damn. I consider myself pretty jaded as far as videogames go but the fight with the leaping guys made my heart jump.

This looks very good but does this game run at 60fps or 30fps ?

I still sense the same problems with mission design.

All the missions in Infamous are just a succession of waypoints.
Go there, dispatch enemys, destroy an object, move to next waypoint, enemies spawn, destroy object 2, repeat.

All the missions are the same, and the only thing that changes is the levelling of your character.

At least the action looks punchier with a few more gameplay systems (vent teleportation, "lava eruptions", limited destruction).

But compared to the mission variety you see in current open world games, or even Sucker Punch's own Sly franchise, this feels like crude, early open world action tropes strecteched too thin.

Havent played it since the 1st one but this is on my radar now

The thing is that these visuals could have been done a long time ago on a PC,and even work on a medium PC with a dx11 card,but of course nobody bothered to work on it if their main focus are the consoles

Very reminiscent of the earlier games. Look like they've worked out a way for players to fly near indefinitely. Pretty cool. Really like Infamous as a series.

That dive of destruction at the end was the best part.But I love the way the soldiers were using their powers to flank him.I didn't even notice before but one of them actually made a perch out of stone to get a better vantage point to shoot him. And the turning to ash and zipping through vents? I can imagine the fun I can have with that flying through spaces and pipes and such. But since he is ash and fire does that mean is weakness is water just like Cole? We definitely need water villains this time around or bring back more evolved versions of the ice guys.

Sony has so many great dominant IP's that they can bring back, such as Infamous, Socom, Ape Escape, Jak & Daxter, Siren, Sly Cooper, Killzone, Twisted Metal, Little Big Planet, Gravity Rushy, Motorstorm, Wild Arms, Resistance, Wipeout, Alundra, Colony Wars, Cool Boarders, Knack, Syphon Filter, Dark Cloud, Omega Boost, The Legend of Dragoon, G-Police, The Getaway and so on. Many of these games is what defines Playstation and sets them apart in previous generations.

I rather they focus on that, instead of Live Service games that's been so heavily invested now days.

They could also work with third parties developers to bring these franchises back like Parasite Eve, Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver, Dino Crisis, Ridge Racer, SSX, Tenchu, Jade Cocoon, Xenogears, Lunar Silver Star, Nightmare Creatures, Vagrant Story, Shadow Hearts, Driver, Breath of Fire, Tomba, Legend of Legaia, Okami..etc

I'm more of a new IP dude but infamous is one of the few series I want more of. Second son 2 where you play as delsin, fetch, and the video game guy (eugene I think?), Infamous 3 where cole comes back and maybe teams up with delsin against a new threat, A new game where maybe you pllay as another new protag who has to fight against an evil deslin who got messed up from absorbing too many powers and became some unstable super powered dude similar to the beast in infamous 2. Or just a whole new plot, characters and city. Series has a lot of potential

Problem with infamous is the morality system played into the endings in all the games so even though the player gets a choice for good of bad ending a sequel typically has to chose one of those endings to make cannon which may not align with players.

However I would love another one of these games they were all amazing

God I hope so. I’d be down with a new character, maybe in somewhere not in the US, like put it in London, Prague, Venice, somewhere iconic.
