For the first time a console will launch and it will not be more powerful then a mid range or high end gaming computer.
All the "power" these consoles have and features, have been avaliable to PC gamers for almost 5 years now yet these consoles are called "next generation"
I get excited about new consoles because the new hardware will finally allow us on the PC to get games that push the limits more. The new MMO/Massive/Persistent games that were announced at this E3 proves that new consoles while not being earth shattering (or even new) are becoming more common and better games are made for us in the process.
But I do LOL every time I read about 60fps or 32+ player online games. We've had this stuff for forever.
