Recently we have seen a change in PlayStations politics. Information we are being fed with are more clear, are reaching us faster and more often. Even high SCE employees are answering our questions. And todays we have a possibility to choose, which games we want to see translated.

Freedom Wars 2 was also in the works

Publisher Bandai Namco and developer Dimps have announced Freedom Wars Remastered, a remastered version of Sony Interactive Entertainment’s 2014-released PS Vita action RPG including previously released downloadable content. It will launch for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam on January 9, 2025 in Japan and January 10 worldwide.
Crossing my fingers for Marvelous AQL to one day buy Soul Sacrifice from Sony as well.
Well well well...so this game came back. Great game. Has it's flaws but it was a fun playthrough. Still hoping to this day it gets a sequel. Definitely picking it up.
I really enjoyed this game for a while but it ran out of steam half way through. It was a great concept though
Oh my... I enjoyed this game so much on my vita.. Nice story, incredible gameplay, so fun. Totally unexpected, made my day!

Sammy: "Two high-profile PS Vita exclusives, Freedom Wars and Soul Sacrifice, will have their servers deactivated on 24th December, 2021. Both titles, published by Sony in response to its loss of Monster Hunter exclusivity, were built around co-operative play, and maintained relatively dedicated communities to this day."
Oreshika is also getting it servers shut down too. Big shame for these games. Honestly some of Vita's gems.
I'm surprised these were even still up! Loved the Vita though, had some great times with that handheld.
These games deserve sequels or remakes. It was Soul Sacrifice that even got me into Monster Hunter.
This why you never should have achievements/trophies locked to online only features.

Shahid Kamal Ahmad asked us using his Twitter account:
Greetings. We’re looking at JRPGs and similar for Vita. Your votes on which ones you’d buy using #jrpgvita please. :-)
I understand that japanese games are a niche, even between Vita owners. But there ARE those of us, who want to play them. There are only 5 milions of us worldwide, therefore we have to help each other to procure even more games for our platform.
Therefore I’m writing to you, as a humble gamer. Take 5 minutes from your time, create a Twitter account and respond to Shahid’s message.
If you can’t remember jRPG Vita titles that haven’t crossed Japanese borders, then here’s a list for you:
• Atelier Meruru Plus
• Class of Heroes II
• Conception II
• Demon Gaze
• Dragon’s Crown
• Dragon’s Dogma Quest
• Exstetra
• Final Fantasy Type-0
• Freedom Wars
• Guardian Hearts Online
• Holy Sorcery Story
• Kaku-San-Sei Million Arthur
• Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky
• MIND?0
• Monster Monpiece
• Phantasy Star Online 2
• Picotto Knights
• Project Happiness
• Ragnarok Odyssey Ace
• Samurai & Dragons
• Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus
• Super Heroine Chronicles
• Tales of Hearts R
• Toukiden
• Valhalla Knights 3
I have another favour I want to ask from you. Don’t let publishers make a fool of yourself. US Vita owners are getting their games in boxes, when us, Europeans get only digital versions of said games (example: Ragnarok Odyssey). If you want to see more retail versions of Vita games then add to your Twitter messages: #PSVRetail
#PS4NoDRM and #PS4UsedGames got a response from SCE, let’s do the same!
I think the talk is only about jrpg games released in japan for PS VITA only. But I hope that I'm wrong.
