haha, i hope this is a joke, i am still playing this game daily after picking it up at launch day,i mean really, how can you capture the dark gritty feel of the first two in a hot, bright and colourful environment.

my only downside is that i would have liked a roscoe street station sp level

clunky, my balls, the jumping and slow motion makes it non-clunky, think of the last stand feature, where you can spin and kill people behind you instantly.

I can understand that not everyone likes every game, but some games, despite your lack of enjoyment, are quality experiences. Max Payne 3 is a quality experience, even if you don't personally enjoy it. Saying it's that bad is absurd.

It's kind of like Halo; the game is a quality game, I just don't happen to enjoy playing it, but I can recognize that it's a quality game. It's polished and well-made, it's just not for me. I wouldn't think of running it down because of that.

I don't know about anyone else but I never had a problem with freezing, but to say a game broke your console like that is really reaching, sounds like it was on its last legs to begin with and to add insult to injury he throws out the console with the game still inside?

Max Payne 3 is excellent. I mean, sure, it's no Max Payne 2, but it's still a brilliant game in its own right.

I think the guy who wrote the article is new to the gaming and didnt like the "old school" vibe of the game (the Regenerating health and the fact that the game is harder than most of the games on normal)

it is not the worst, it is not bad at all, but for me it was decent it wasn't memorable. heck i don't remember how it ends.

The game was awful. Poor controls. Max was whiny as hell. Highly repetitive. I couldn't bring myself to finish it.

As for the people who enjoyed it....why? I just don't get it.

No, he's right. The game sucked, too many cut scenes.

While I don't think MP3 is the I've played, I can see where this guy is coming from because I had some of the issues with the game. First was the amount of cut scenes it had. there were cut scenes for climbing ladders, WTF. And it was also a bit hard to see where I was aiming because of the tiny reticule. But the gameplay was really fun. I think the controls and gunplay just might be the best I've played in a 3rd person shooter.

To be honest...being a fan of the series since the first and upgrading my PC to the high heavens by using MadOnion's 3d Mark99... just to prepare myself for the beast of a PC Game known as Max Payne.
Although the original and sequel were written by Sam Lake. The third installment was written by Dan Houser. I preferred the direction of the third and it earned my place of GOTY along with dishonored. At least those games had "Substance" which sadly alot of game developers nowadays... have no idea how to instill substance into their games.

it's a game that clearly doesn't care if you play it. it's just so fucking cool, it ought to exist out their in space. it'll join the constellation of over serious, over long, boringly written "cutscene-shooters" that rockstar has put out over the past 5 years.

I fuckin loved it, yes it went in a different direction than the first 2 games and them lines that kept coming on the screen in the cut scenes were annoying but no way was this a bad game, for me it was one of the best games I played last year!!!

Max Payne is a great game, with good graphics, animation and lot of action. The game is different, but kept me playing a lot of hours. The story is only for adult players and the narrative is sometimes overcharged with a lot of alcoholic moments of the principal character.

I bought Max Payne 3 at PSN for 20 USD and it's an amazing product, a great value in campaing mode, althought its multiplayer is bland.

I'm fine with stuff like MP3 not good as the previous installments, or wasn't that good, not up to expectations, but worst game ever? come on man, be reasonable and stop farting from your mouth and stop talking out of your ass.

RE4 Remake was a very satisfying one. It took a good amount of planning and prep to get. It was a little bit more than just 'do every side quest and find every shiny thing.'
