AppSpy: It's Qix combined with setting up an archaeological dig in your backyard, all the while avoiding mummies and moles. With better controls and some balancing, this could be quite enjoyable.
Triverse writes, "Avoiding the mummy, Nigel, and other creatures is key here. One touch and they have you- game over. There are even octopus like tentacles that appear in later levels to thwart your efforts. Clearing the level only requires 75% of the level to be dug up."
Featuring a familiar game style and numerous attempts at humor, Dig! simply doesn’t do enough to stand out from the pack.
GameZebo: When it comes to the video game realm, digging may be an oft-recreated theme, but that doesn't mean there's no room left for some awesome newcomers to enter the fold. Games like Digging and Glean are enough to pique your interest when it comes to the genre, but Dig! is a retro-flavored take on mashing through the ground and searching for treasure. Reminiscent of Qix and all the 80s-tinged adventures out there, Dig! is an arcade hit that's sure to please.
