From what i understand it was shown on Spike tv if that's what you mean by "regular channel"...major nelson just tweeted that their e3 conferance will be 90min long and will also be covered on Spiketv...
Right now they don't need to advertise heavily as they tend to save that for the weeks leading up to the release when it counts.

Actually it was televised by Spike TV, but they didn't put any billboards, or any other advertisements, to make the mainstream audience know about Xbox One. Avalanche Studios is drinking the Microsoft Koolid, maybe Just Cause 3 is a timed exclusive with timed DLC. Like I said before in other post, Microsoft need to step up their game to us gamers, and give us the goods to win us back from Sony. I want to see Perfect Dark 2, Killer Instinct 3, actual gameplay to Ryse, Quantum Break, Brute Force 2(hopefully), and game changer new Ips. Show us why Xbox is the One. The One that doesn't have 99 problems during or after launch. The One that has GTA 5 version time exclusive for next gen. Give us those turning heads announcements from the past like (don't want to start a flame war) you did when you announce Final Fantasy for Xbox. Be developer friendly to Indy developers.

When it came to the PS3 and multiplatform games for the most part the PS3 was neglected with poor ports and generally the worst side of the fence even though it was the more powerful console.

I for one hope this doesn't happen again with the PS4 being more powerful, I respect MS and there decision but it's not for me. I Just don't want to see devs bought into making shoddy ports again for a sony console.

Conspiracy? MS doesn't exactly hide it's own efforts to maintain control by handing out cash. They smile for the camera.

Funny isn't it, no one can actually like MS or their Xbox without being paid off.

But as you said, if any article comes out stating any type of negativity towards Sony or their brand not only is the "media" biased but some will call to arms to have the site banned from N4G.

Having more power doesn't always mean it will be better. The PS3 may have been the more powerful system but as many devs had said it was very hard to develop for and most 3rd parties code games in a way that it will be easily ported to all platforms. Unfortunately the PS3 architecture was far from a normal PC/360 type making the ps3 version (sometimes) inferior.

It still kills me that some folks on here would call the devs lazy but now praise sony for listening to the very same devs they called lazy.

well said baby leg, i too prefer all the "extra" services ms offers as well and am a huge forza fan and like me some halo. those two exclusives alone > than any ps3 exclusives to me except maybe demon souls but thats now dark souls so im good lol

ive lost a bubble on this site over prefering/defending the X1. i think it looks great and apparently thats the most offensive thing ever on this site lol even though i can provide numerous reasons why its good and why it suits me better than ps4
