Be amazing if Sony push out vr games with a Sony branded oculus rift....

One can dream... Maybe next gen, once the tech develops further. Currently the Rift still requires a hdmi cable connected to it. Very inconvenient when you're playing a ps4 from your couch in the living room.

I always LOVED Sony's AR stuff! I really hope they bring some amazing things on ps4 as well!

They need to make some more uses for those AR cards that come with a Vita.

I'd hope Vita's camera was of higher quality. I'm surprised Sony went ultra cheap with those (the sensors they use on phones and the eye is really top notch) but Vita's camera is so bad you have noise even in daylight conditions. That's one negative aspect and affects the AR experience, you really need to play it perfect lighting conditions.

offtopic: Is it up to developers or Sony to implement the use of Oculus Rift into PS4 games?

USEYOURFIST4708d ago

just guessing, however id say it would be down to the developers as they would be the ones who would have to implement options to allow the use of the oculus in their code...much like how on the ps3 the devs who wanted to implement 3d did it themselves by implementing the option for it...however id imagine sony would have to give some sort of permission for it to happen. Really hope it happens and takes off though!
