Why a Resident Evil 2 remake should be made

Geimaku - "Recently, many fans of the series have expressed interest in a remake of Resident Evil 2 after the failure of both Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City and Resident Evil 6.

Resident Evil is in need of going back to horror, and a remake of what fans believe to be the best game in the series would probably be a step in the right direction.
Resident Evil 2 is by far one of the highest rated games in the franchise history, only being beat by Resident Evil 4."

If they were to do this, Resident Evil 2 should definitely be a priority. Agreed.

I loved the original RE-Remake on the GC. I would love to see HD remakes of 2 and 3. But do you stop there? Would you want a remake Code Veronica as well?
