Rajat Taneja, Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Electronic Arts writes:
'As a long-time Microsoft employee and now the CTO of EA, I found yesterday’s unveiling of the new Xbox One exciting on a few different levels. Following on the footsteps of Sony’s announcement of the new PlayStation 4, these new technologies finally raise the curtain on the next generation of interactive entertainment. This is a significant inflection point in the history of our industry. One that is as profound as the introduction of smartphones or Facebook to the market. My colleagues Frank Gibeau and Peter Moore shared their thoughts on what this means for the industry as a whole yesterday, but I’d like to take a deeper dive into the technical implications of these new platforms for our games and game engines.'

Gamasutra: Former Microsoft executive Rajat Taneja has joined Electronic Arts as the company's new global chief technology officer, EA revealed Thursday.
Here is the quick and dirty of the Xbox One tech. You have 50% less GPU cores and cheaper/slower RAM than the PS4. Alos the One will only have 5 GB RAM available for games vs 7 GB on PS4.
Anyone purchasing an Xbox One is getting an inferior console than it could have been because MS is forcing the purchase of Kinect.
So really there is no need to talk about its tech because its better than Wii but a step below the PS4.
Basically that is it, game, set, Xbox Off!
impressive technology, bravo MS
it will be like ten times more powerful than the 360 and with 300thousand servers will have the best on line play experience so is pretty nice change from my 360.....i dont buy used games because i have no time to buy more than 4 games in a year so is fear to me besides it helps developers have more money and motivation for new games.
