Today, Microsoft unveiled the Xbox One -- its next generation console, which will go toe-to-toe with Sony's PlayStation 4 this holiday season, with a worldwide release planned for "later this year."
Reactions to the presentation, which steamed live globally from Microsoft's headquarters in Redmond, Washington, were mixed.
One voice that didn't get much play during the presentation was game developers -- so we turned to you, our audience, to find out what you think about the console and all that's been revealed about it so far. We have the basic information about the hardware now, but what we want to know is: what does it mean for you, game developers? What do you think of the Xbox One, its features, its chances for success? If you could tell Microsoft what you want from it, what would it be?

Square Enix launches Final Fantasy X 25th anniversary site, revealing new Nomura art, books, music releases, and merchandise.
Look I know VIII has its issues and all that but how on earth can the do big anniversary events with new artwork and merchandise for VII, IX and X yet VIII got sweet f*** all.
They could have given it something during its 25th anniversary yet all it got was a single Happy Anniversary post on their social media.

LucasArts gave Jango Fett his own game in 2002, and it pulled Star Wars into a much dirtier, rougher, and more interesting corner of the galaxy.

Dear team,
Xbox has always been different.
We started with a simple idea. Games should bring people together through shared experiences. That led to the first Xbox in 2001, Xbox Live in 2002, and new ways to connect, from friends lists and achievements to parties and play across devices. Today, Xbox reaches over 500 million players around the world, with some of the most important franchises in entertainment.
If they go back to exclusive games it at least shows that they are finally getting it. They would be turning down immediate money for something that will potentially workout in the long term.
Only issue is they've already opened Pandora's box. A lot of their base has moved to PC or jumped to PS. So will be a long road to get back on track.
We have been saying this from day one exclusives are a must if you are going to be selling hardware look at Nintendo and Sony before Jim Ryan. That's the proven formula. You had some that were deluded and blinded by loyalty accepting that multiplat was the future and that MS was merely getting ahead of where the industry was headed, but at least they can finally see the light and agree with what everyone has been saying for a decade+
Despite all of that, it's clear that Microsoft's Xbox division is broken beyond repair.
lol at xbox.
weak.
All I want is the controller maybe(but its ugly to). Hope it works on pc.
I want to throw up on it to make it look better.

Sorry but knowing sony ps4 box will look sexy as fuk compared to xbox one. I already know.
I know kaz is taking everyone out for pizza right now.
They just need to get ps4 bigger in usa.
It will not go toe-to-toe with PS4. As sad as it is it just won't. Sorry.
Presentation was uber weak, i got alot more out of the twitch.tv interview with the 4 xbox developers. If what they said in the interview is true, Sony could be dead in the water.
whats sad is they can't show the power of the next xbox with a in house developer... oh wait they have none just call of duty dlc exclusive for one month.
if gamers actually support this hack company for gaming there's something wrong with you wake up.
so if i go in a game with alot of ppl without a mic, then my voice will come through their tv i can shout xbox OFF and turn everyones xbox off because you need the kinect in all the time.
