Picking the brain of recently-appointed NCsoft North America president Chris Chung, Next-Gen find a company that has its fingers in a few noteworthy businesses, plugging away relatively quietly in the shadow of occasional World of Warcraft subscriber base press updates.
For example, development of Richard Garriott's hyped-up Tabula Rasa continues, PlayStation 3 MMO work is underway, initiatives in new business models are progressing, Guild Wars 2 is coming along, City of Heroes is poised to become bigger and better and the upcoming Aion (pronounced "eye-on") is turning into a real looker. It's all work-in-progress, but the potential for NCsoft's new and upcoming projects in the MMO market deserve recognition.

To be fair, there are also human made games that release and lack any fun at all either.
Guild Wars 2 been playing for 14yrs, 1st beta. This is just one company I support, Arenanet and NCSoft, even though I torrent, there are a few PC companies I will buy from. "PlayStation’s Horizon MMO spin-off, Horizon Steel Frontiers." I feel this will be good, NCSoft is a good developer/publisher.

I played the first beta of GW1 way back in May 2004, still playing it sometimes today, now I'm mostly in GW2. I will definitely go back in GW on Dec. 3 to see the improvements 😎
Put it on console and I’ll play it again. I’d didn’t do much of the endgame stuff it any at all (it’s been so long I don’t remember what I did besides level up) Since it has controller support it would be perfect for console
That sounds like a good idea imo, but I don't know if the devs have such plans. Maybe if this one turns out really well for PC, they might go down that road.
no fucking way. I really hope that they give "new" servers, so not every new player starts playing when the veterans literally have endless piles of gold (platinum in this case) and honestly as a veteran I want a reset as well. I can't believe this is actually happening. Pleaseeeeeeeeeee be good. Christmas comes early this year
I don't recall that the devs have said anything about the matter as of yet, but we shall soon find out since the drop shall be done this December 3rd.
Yeah looked around a bit and there is no reset or alternative sadly. I'm still super excited though also because they said that they will continue with some kind of updates (it's probably not content updates). Was planning to play some again in february but that will become december
I loved GuildWars.. back in the the day I would play this countless hours.. I was young and didn’t want to pay for a subscription like WoW.. My friends were stuck playing RuneScape and I thought this was next level content.
I play most my games on console now.. so I kind of wished they could bring GW2 to it. I haven’t played that game in years either.
