Pulse is a unique first-person adventure by Team Pixel Pi that puts players in the shoes of a blind person navigating the unknown through the use of echolocation. Using audio cues and resourceful critters, you mentally reconstruct your environment while carefully ensuring your survival.

Chalgyr's Game Room writes:
Pulse gets its core principles right, but as a fully realized game, the title is somewhat lacking. The concept is cool, but its short campaign and limited mechanical growth makes Pulse feel more like an idea than a fully realized game.

Games like The Unfinished Swan & Beyond Eyes as of recent — though certainly not major hitters — are trying to build foundation and alongside such console releases, the PC-exclusive Pulse follows in as much the same vein.
