I would have liked a comparison with something like: a station, a tunnel, outside. This is sorta kinda spoiler territory. Now the surprise is ruined.

Youtube comparison is soooo pointless. It's in a 1080p video that lost image quality over the original, both video has to be seen at the same time so it cropped into two smalls square 400*400 pix big and both version have different resolution but sowed in the same screen size.

the console versions run in sub hd, the pc versions can run in ultra high hd resolutions, there is no video player in the world that can even come close to showing you how amazing this game looks running on a high end pc, and youtube or whatever player makes the xbox360/ps3 version look way better by compressing the horribly low res, jaggie covered nightmare that is every console game down

pc games from 2004 look better than 99% of ps3/360 games ever created, don't delude yourself and think the difference is minimal, the ps4 will NEVER have a game that looks as good as metro last light looks on a high end pc.
