I remember watching him in the GSL's first 3 seasons.

What no more rage quits? :(

He will be missed lol

SilentNegotiator4754d ago (Edited 4754d ago )

Of course. He was a competitive gamer. That's part of the job description.

MikeyDucati14754d ago

I see no competitiveness when you quit when someone better than you beats you. Get better. You just don't quit because of it. that's weak.

KillrateOmega4754d ago (Edited 4754d ago )

"...Well, I’m not winning nearly as much, which is part of the reason it’s less fun, but the competition itself is just not as interesting to me, or challenging to me, or satisfying to me as it used to be and without that I see no reason to continue playing when there’s..."

So you say that you're not winning as much, then you say that the competition isn't as challenging. That doesn't make any sense. The second part contradicts the first part :P

It just sounds like a giant rage quit...

MikeyDucati14754d ago

LOL!!!!

So this guy gets beat on and now he wants to quit?

You know, actual athletes keep competing even if they are on the losing team. Then in the off season, they work out to get better for themselves and the team. That's the difference between actual physical sports athletes and these guys.

When the chips fall, they fall with them.

Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.

To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Jingsing19d ago

The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.

Tanktopmaster9219d ago

Once they re-evaluate exclusive all will be fine….

S2Killinit19d ago

Riiiiight because people will just flock back to them for one or two games per year.

Jingsing19d ago

15+ years of bad performance is what they call irreparable in business. It is time for them to sell off the assets and get out of entertainment.

Tanktopmaster9219d ago

These declines are on the back of extra revenue received from releasing games like Forza horizon 5 on PlayStation. So I’m being sarcastic here when I said they should go back to exclusives. Killing off a revenue stream from Ps5 sales will only make things worse
