Indie group developing Battlefront 3 using CryEngine 3

Crytek today revealed details of how itscutting-edge CRYENGINE game development technology will power the newly-announcedreal-time movie production software, Film Engine.
YouTube’s ‘club4ghz’ has released two videos, showcasing the performance difference between CRYENGINE V and CRYENGINE 3, as well as the performance difference between CRYENGINE V’s DX11 and DX12 modes.
CE5 has a higher framerate but CE3 looks better at times...
I guess this is because CE5 is just supposed to be a Cryengine for VR and not much more
Probably will fall under just like the majority of these types of projects. Haven't heard a thing about the Halo: Venearnce mod in months and so on. Wouldn't get your hopes up.
They should do a kickstarter.
Sounds nice but it'll probably be in development for a year or so and then silently die as people lose motivation and people leave. That's how 98% of these ambitious mods end up, I've seen it too many times.
I hope this happens. Don't let this series die!
