I hopea vita version is coming! Bought origins on it and wow that game is amazing.

MartinB1054764d ago

This. I bought Origins on both PS3 and Vita and platinumed both of them.

I have no idea why anyone is disagreeing with you. Are people really opposed to a game being released on the Vita? Or are they disagreeing that Origins was amazing? The mystery of the phantom disagreers. :p

I kinda wonder if there will be some downgrades in graphically quality on either the wii u or 360/ps3 version since the dev said the wii u was giving them more powerful hardware and more ram. Might help decide which version i might get.

MartinB1054764d ago

I doubt any version will be graphically downgraded.

Remember that Origins came out on the Wii and looked identical to the PS3 / 360 versions (aside from being lower resolution) which should tell you that Origins never even came close to maxing out the abilities of the 360 and PS3.

That should indicate that there's more than enough hardware power on all of the current systems to accommodate the improvements in Legends. :)

The devs said they had fill rate issues on both ps3 and xbox, the wii version wouldn't have had to push as many pixel so it was scaled accordingly. The devs said the wii u helped with the fillrate and ram issues as stated here: http://wiiudaily.com/2012/1...

SilentNegotiator4764d ago (Edited 4764d ago )

Yeah, I'll bet they're really going to have to lower the poly count, texture resolutions, lighting, etc to get it to work on Ps3/360/Vita. We all know what a juggernaut Wii U is graphically. And with 2D side-scrollers being so demanding...

Hey i didn't say it the devs. did they said themselves the wii u helped them get pasted fill rate issues they had on xbox and ps3 along with some of the ram issues.

Little Big Planet, lol. No.

paddy95441d ago

LBP3 and rayman legends are the best here.

jznrpg441d ago

Puppeteer is really good. Nobody played it because it came out right before PS4 came out. When I went to pick up Puppeteer from GameStop some people were trading in their old consoles for PS4 preorder.

Will There Ever Be A New Rayman Game?

Ubisoft barely have a leg to stand on lately, so do they need to crack open the vaults and return platforming royalty to glory for some goodwill?

We need Rayman 4, they could make a great platformer game if they wanted. With the open hub levels and the like.

Better than relying on Rabbids and Assassins Creed all the time

Profchaos802d ago

Yeah agree id love a Rayman 2 style 3d platform game over another 2d platformer I know people loved legends but it never gelled with me same as Rayman 1 back in the day on PS it just felt like a average platformer with sonic and Mario offering something better on what was then last gen hardware

Terry_B802d ago

Yes..but I am sure it won't be the Rayman game fans want. Not from the company that is Ubisoft today.

mastershredder802d ago (Edited 802d ago )

Ancel is retired from games. His hoodlum/rabbid team are doing their own thing. It would not be the same if Ubisoft did.

Profchaos802d ago

Probably far more profitable to make low effort Rabbids games aimed at kids over a next Rayman

Chocoburger802d ago

Experience points, skill trees to fill up, level gating, endless menial tasks and side quests, constantly scrounging for resources. Always having to upgrade your gear. A.KA. "The Ubisoft effect".

No thanks, don't ruin Rayman's legacy.

Profchaos802d ago

Sure there will be it'll launch right alongside the next splinter cell
