"Everyone’s bought or come into possession of something that doesn’t quite live up to their expectations. Whether it’s the Powerglove you got back in the late ’80s or the beat-up car currently sitting in your drive way, they both illicit the same disappointing feeling.
The same can be said for some of the ‘power-ups’ and ‘upgrades’ we get in our videogames. We come into it expecting some badass weapon or flashy doomsday spell, only to find that they sometimes do nothing more than take up space in our inventories.
In this week’s Pixelitis Picks, we delve into the less than stellar ‘things’ in games. With lackluster spells and underachieving pocket monsters, it’s all downhill from here."

The Black Mages' Legacy, the FFIX animated series set to release in 2028, has officially moved to "In Production" at EuroVisual Studios.

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker HD have been delisted from digital stores without warning.
Stupid headline. Should state that they are being updated or discontinued. This makes the crazy people that only read headlines think it some kind of conspiracy to take away peoples already purchased games.
If you want to all of a sudden own them now and haven't played them yet because a remastered is coming out, shame on you. I can't believe people are complaining about this 15 years later when it was bound to happen anyway. "A new remaster is out, quick, I'd better buy the original from the shop."
Gamers: "Physical? who needs physical? everyone knows that digital online games are the future. stop living in the past. we don't need no stinking disc drive"
Same gamers: "How dare the delist a digital game that I own!!!!"

Get ready to hear the FFIX soundtrack like never before when the FINAL FANTASY IX - House Grooves album drops in March 2026.
we'll get anything but the game announcement
i wonder if they had to delay the game internally and all the other unnecessary dtuff they did had stiff deadlines.
not an excuse, Square is terrible with their own damn deadlines.
The FF9 remake was part of the Nvidia leak many moons ago. Not sure what happened since then but Square seems to excel at mucking things up.
I'm an avid House Head especially the genres of Tech,NY Hard,Tribal, Deep & Progressive House including the now sound of Techno with 125 to 132 BPM. I'm very curious to how this sounds.
