This game was developed by the Japanese game development company From Software, and released July 21, 1995 in Japan, and February 15, 1996 in the U.S, and in March, 1997, in Europe, making it the first role-playing game for the PlayStation in the west. Since the first King's Field game was never published outside Japan, King's Field II was released as King's Field in the U.S and Europe. It has only been released for the PlayStation console.

Brandon writes: "I could find you 10 companies that have pitched a bloodborne sequel, spinoff, or remake, including my own. It's just not going to happen unless fromsoft decides they want to do it."
Everyone was criticizing Sony for not pushing for the BB remake. Turns out they gave it the green light. The original still holds up really well
Man this just fucking sucks, I respect Miyazaki and Shohida's wishes, but Bluepoint would have been the perfect studio to take on a project like a Bloodborne remake. It's still an absolute masterpiece, but the performance and frame pacing could easily be solved on the current hardware now.

Sony's bold entrance into the console market back in the '90s heralded the use of CD-ROMs instead of cartridges, which convinced several companies to jump on board the PlayStation train. It turns out FromSoftware was one of those companies lured in by the appeal of discs.

Elden Ring Nightreign, a weird and experimental multiplayer-led title that FromSoftware basically built in a cave using exploded fragments of Elden Ring proper, has been a big hit.
FromSoftware is a real O.G. company in the games industry. Classy games.
Kings Field are the Demon's Souls/ Dark Souls before those games existed.
And I preferred them King's Field IV especially is my favourite game that From has ever made.
the predecessor of the beast which is demons souls...
Found this one a few months back.
Was looking for some random games to try and emulate, and came across this series.
Fun, but it's obvious the developer has come a long way since then.
This game looked awesome, but was an absolute pain to play and not in a good way like demon souls. It was incredibly slow, taking an eternity between button press and the swing of the sword. I remember it starting outside near water and looking up at the stars. It was amazing. Then I came across the first enemy and it was press the button...wait...sword ssswwwwiiiiinnnnggggiiiinngggg ....missed.....press button again sword sssswwwwiiiii...........bugger this, where's Metal Gear Solid?
