Gi - Trying to put into words what Quantic Dream is attempting to achieve with Beyond: Two Souls is even more difficult than attempting to decipher what the title is about. With the subject of the afterlife, the soul and the nature of living being posed to the audience. This game can push the medium of gaming and cinema further into a similar realm. Heavy Rain was a tremendous game and stands out in recent memory as a game that truly blurred the boundaries of gaming and film. Not only in terms of advancing technology in facial animations but also in storytelling. However, there were some critics in regards to the general (or lack there of) control scheme. So this leads to the impending debate. Does Beyond: Two Souls need to integrate more traditional style gameplay?

Elliot Page and Quantic Dream are developing a television series adaptation based on the video game Beyond: Two Souls.
Ever since Heavy Rain, I've been supporting Quantic Dream. They put heart and soul into their work and create art.
That art might not be for everyone, but it's polished, well designed and engaging for those that enjoy it.
This is actually my favorite Quantic Dream game. I thought the story, supernatural stuff, and cast was great and super interesting. Hopefully the show will be good.

DSOGaming writes: "Quantic Dream has just released Detroit: Become Human, Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls on the PC, and has removed Denuvo from them."

Quantic Dream revealed the upcoming Steam Release of its games Detroit: Become Human, Beyond: Two Souls, and Heavy Rain coming "soon."
Sony is expanding their PC approach beyond (no pun intended) Epic Store realm.

When the crazy Xbox fans completely falsify facts to meet their agenda it really just makes you question how desperate these people are and how brainwashed they’ve become.
I blame Sony, you can only take a beating for so long and Sony been laying the fist into them for three generations now.
No. Heavy Rain was the great experience it was partly to its control scheme. Let Quantic Dream do what its good at. Making an experience unlike anything else on the market.
I think that Heavy Rain's control scheme was perfect for what it was trying to do. I can't imagine playing it any other way. It's one of the best experiences of this generation. I can't wait for Beyond: Two Souls. I hope they keep the same type of control scheme as Heavy Rain.
Walking Dead GotY, 'nuff said...
Firstly, in response to "Does Beyond: Two Souls need to integrate more traditional style gameplay?":
No. it doesn't. It was acclaimed for its gameplay, story, and the way it conveyed emotion. As long as Beyond has these elements in wealth, it will be another great experience.
Secondly, if the author had looked into the details, the latest gameplay, and the fact that Cage has said that he's doing away with QTE in Beyond for the most part, they'd know that IT IS more traditional than Heavy Rain ever was.
