Cristian bale, Hugh jackman and and Eric bana are the best picks from that list BUT I would like to see someone not so famous.. I don't want it to be like " oh look its wolverine as snake" or batman or whatever, it needs to be that he gets famous for playing snake.

BitbyDeath4777d ago

I hate Christian Bale with a passion.
His acting always feels the same in every role IMO.

ironfist924777d ago

... you need to watch more of his films. The Fighter. American Psycho. The Machinist.

TopDudeMan4777d ago

Yeah, I don't think anyone on that list would be "perfect" for the role. Would be nice to see someone I'd never seen in a big movie do it.

HammadTheBeast4777d ago

Nah, a few of the guys from Game of Thrones would be much better than any of those.

Sandmano4777d ago (Edited 4777d ago )

Umm yea I know there's better picks but from THAT list those ate the best.

Also about the article the author keeps on stressing the "aggressive" which never the way I viewed Snake. Snake never came across as aggressive, he always came across as a guy who would avoid conflict at any cost, not aggressive more calculating and calm...

maniacmayhem4777d ago

So basically any white guy with a beard and goatee...

Sandmano4777d ago

Look I was thinking that with some of the picks.

Snookies124777d ago

If only he were still alive... I miss that dude's comedy so much.

Anthotis4777d ago

Should get David Hayter to buff up a bit, and he'd be perfect for the role.

He does a good Solid Snake voice too...

Konami Delists Some Metal Gear Games From Digital Stores Without Warning

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker HD have been delisted from digital stores without warning.

cloganart85d ago

I mean, it makes sense. With Vol.2 coming and all that

Commentby85d ago

Stupid headline. Should state that they are being updated or discontinued. This makes the crazy people that only read headlines think it some kind of conspiracy to take away peoples already purchased games.

jjb198185d ago

If you want to all of a sudden own them now and haven't played them yet because a remastered is coming out, shame on you. I can't believe people are complaining about this 15 years later when it was bound to happen anyway. "A new remaster is out, quick, I'd better buy the original from the shop."

gigoran885d ago

Gamers: "Physical? who needs physical? everyone knows that digital online games are the future. stop living in the past. we don't need no stinking disc drive"

Same gamers: "How dare the delist a digital game that I own!!!!"

computeSci84d ago (Edited 84d ago )

And? What is your point?

Same gamers: "How dare the retailers to delist (quit selling) a physical game that I own!!!!"

I think you just read the headline and don't know how dilisting works with Sony. It's common knowledge that:

"Players who already bought the games will still have them in their library and can download and play them as usual."

So again, what is your point?

You're not gonna include Ratchet and Clank Up Your Arsenal or Jak 3 on that list? Just change it to Fall 2004 Releases and include the masterpiece that is Sly 2.
