God of War Ascension, Uncharted 3, Killzone 3, LBP, Beyond 2 souls, Sly thieves in Time.. other day i played Start The Party.. unbeatable fun
I think all of those games got remastered which really makes them forgettable on the base PS3 as everyone always jumps to the PS4 iteration

Ridge Racer 6 on the Xbox 360 played a lot better than Ridge Racer 7 on the PlayStation 3, which included Ridge Racer 6 tracks. Ridge Racer 6 was the last quality game in the series.
Both are good games, RR6 looks very slightly better, but this post is not about that.
Yes, this deserves a re-release. I am surprised it hasn't been brought forth again.
@stonetitan it was like a love letter to the original legend of Zelda. I get it probably wasn't for everyone but it's a great game.
Game was overlooked by a lot of people it took me back to the 80's playing the legend of Zelda on the gold cartridge for the first time. My kids I their twenties now actually brought it up the other day. I need a ps3 again my last one went out completely. I have so many ps3 games just sitting in a bookshelf. Still got that one up there too. I heard it's worth a lot now or at least was a few years ago, saw some article on it.
Replaying kz2, kz3, r1, r2, r3, kens rage 1 & 2, 3d dot game heroes etc. and they all aged beautifully. Also, playing these games in the hardest difficulty reminded me of how hard games were on the PS3. How I had such a love & hate relationship with these games.
I'm replaying kz2 on emulator at the moment purely because I want to remap the buttons outside of this it floors me just how good kz2 was on real hardware
Unfortunately, kz2 crashes for me on rpcs3 around the level where the helghast talks about raditz executing a soldier for poor uniform ethics. When I try and go up the stairs it keeps crashing. I haven't found a workaround yet. Every other game I'm playing works fine though.
Remakes and remasters have become a staple of this generation, and Ace Combat 7 Game Director Kazutoki Kono opened a couple of interesting polls on his Twitter account about two of Bandai Namco’s most classic series.
Give me every Ace Combat from 1 to 5 and any Ridge Racer will do. Flight Combat is my favorite genre, Ill take everything you can give me.

I totally agree! Love flight games and racing games, whenever I bought a new PlayStation a Ridge Racer was always that I got with it, was kinda bummed there was (and still is) none for the PS4
Adventure and maybe even FPS games makes sense but Why do THESE games need remakes?
I played one where the wingman becomes the main villian. Can't remember which one it is.
4 was the first one I played and it was really good. But I like 5 the best. Being able to control your comrades was great and the story was just slightly better. Though no one is more legendary than Mobius 1.
AC4 was my first experience not only of the series, but also my first PS2 game. Remember hammering it for hours at Xmas when I got it.
Would love to see it brought back :)

You lost the bet. I played the very first Ridge Racer game on the first 32 bit Arcade machine when you were on dipers. Can't take a joke, huh?

Just don't take things too serious. That works for me. And that wasn't even a try for a joke. It was just a memory that everyone shares, at least the ones who follows the Sony brand. ;)
the space invader loading screen was great in that game, complete it all to unlock all the cars and the special black car. those were the days, no micro transactions to buy a faster car in those days.
please bandai-namco. bring these classics back with online multiplayer for psn and xbox live. the newer games are utter crap.
Damn! I completed this game 100% once. I got all the cars, did all the crazy challenges to unlock every last one of them. The Space invader thing, everything.
