I loved Dead Island, and it was absolutely a blast to play with friends, so I'm getting Riptide for sure. Assassins Creed gets a lot of hate now, but the games are always fun and never broken beyond fixing, so for $60 you cant really go wrong with those games if your a fan. The rest I probably wont get, but if your a gamer, you buy games.

I dunno about Assassins Creed IV. I wasn't at all impressed by III and it looks like they basically took the ship mechanics from the third game and build a game around it.

I haven't even completed AC3 because I was so bored of it.

I'm blown away by some of you, that article was spot on!

AC:BF is yet another rushed half-assed sequel, with new gimmicky additions and more ship combat. I've beat them all and its been downhill since brotherhood, not to mention how they're going to even tie it in after that ending (AC3), but their not milking it.... sure.

I actually liked dead island, but it gets boring after a while. No replay value and a weak story. This one will be better, but not spectacular by any means.

Another sorta FF13 game no one asked for! Yup that's hitting the bargain bin after a few weeks.

Wii Fit U I doubt simply because those casuals still don't even know what the wiiU is. To sell that you've got to sell the system and its tablet. It's not intuitive like the wii where they see it and understand.

Dead Island Riptide Hated the 1st thought it was broken buggy, glitchy, combat was unrewarding and clunky just a chore to play, the new one looks exactly the same.

Lost Planet 3- I actually like these games for personal reasons

I agree with Dead Island and Asscreed, Dead Island 1 was one of the worst games I've played this gen, and Asscreed was always a mediocre game. Lost Planet may be a sleeper, and who knows, maybe Lightning Returns will do something right.

I look forward to Riptide and Lightning Return and some dude on the internet is not gonna change my mind. Not much of a fan of AC but I bet it will be fine.

Assassins Creed: Black Flag I will get the PS4 one and I'll even order the L.E. one too.

The other games I don't care for, when it comes to AC. The first one was good and then they started going downhill an then AC3 came out. And it finally made me want to play it again, as for the online..... Don't care for it, the only games I will really play online is games like COD and Battlefield.

Im burned out on Call of Duty. MW3 was the last COD that I even remotely enjoyed. After the lackluster Black Ops 2 I have no interest in COD.

Dead Island Riptide I might get when it drops in price. Assassin Creed 4 Im not sure about it yet I need a break from the franchise. I might get it when it drops in price as well. I was never a fan of Lost Planet so I won't be getting that game. And Lightening Returns I will defeinetly get when it drops in price. I can pick up FF13-2 for $20. Right now its be picky on the games. And use the cash for PS4 and Xbox 720.

I agree with mainly one game from that list: Final Fantasy XIII The Return of Lightning. I said it once, I'll say it again, "I regret buying Final Fantasy XIII." It is THE game that I regret purchasing from this generation. The sequel may have been slightly better, but its scenario was incredibly forced.

It was just a way for Square Enix to "fix the problems" that fans had with the first game. And now there's going to be a third installment that no one even asked or hinted for. Square Enix, you're better than this. Stop pushing the Final Fantasy XIII saga and get back to making better games.

Whenever I see articles like this, I know they're just dying for hits to their website. Dead Island Riptide and Wii Fit U are the only games on that list that are justifiably right in my eyes. Assassin's Creed games are always hits, Lost Planet 3 has caught my eye and ACTUALLY, I wanted Lightning to return, so that website can go jump off a cliff.

Well apparently he though AC1 to be fun. AC2 was great up to revelations that felt really unecessary except for exploring Constantinople that was nice. AC3 is still better than AC1. But it looks like AC4 will take some significant steps.

Difference between Activision/EA and Ubisoft, is that atleast Ubisoft is trying.

Looks like a list of things to rent rather than outright avoid, if it was a list of things to avoid crap like Colonial Marines and Survival Instinct would definitely be on there.

Definitely skipping Riptide. The original game had style, but it felt like a failed RPG version of L4D. Once the whole "Free Roam Zombies on an Island" gimmick died down, so did the game.

Lost Planet 2 was just disappointing. I was hoping for more epic battles in massive suits against larger-sized creatures, Monster Hunter style, not copy/pasted enemies with weak A.I. Lost Planet 3 looks like a even more dumbed down shooter.

I'm getting Assassin’s Creed IV. It may be getting "repetitive" as a series, but the game looks interesting, and took the best part of AC3 and built on it.The only AC game that I considered to be milking the series was revelations.

Never played Final Fantasy, don't plan on starting. Not since people say that the best one is 7, and that the rest are mediocre.

Again, Gimmick that I won't start. I'll save my money on something better for Wii U. Most likely Bayonneta.

It's kinda short sighted and pessimistic to say avoid any games. If you don't want it don't buy it. Don't try to get others to stop wanting a game just because of your negative outlook on the gaming industry. Also,unless they follow games like Aliens Colonial Marines, which was both a false advertisement and overall "WTF Happened?!" moment, I doubt these games will be bad enough for you to feel the need to tell others to avoid them.

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.

Is this like the 10th quarter in a row they're down 33% on hardware how is that even mathematically possible. You would think their mediocrity would Plateau
