Stevivor.com -- "People might be divided when it comes to Battlefield 4’s emotional core, but one thing is absolutely certain – the game looked amazingly gorgeous. Joking that my wallet hurt at the mere thought of the PC specs required to run the Battlefield 4 GDC demonstration, DICE’s Patrick Bach laughed."

EA is laying off an unknown number of individuals from across its Battlefield teams, including workers at Criterion, Dice, Ripple Effect, and Motive Studios, IGN understands.
When logic meets EA it generates anti-matter ..... so try not to apply it in any meaningful way. Entropy is what matters in there !!
cue the apologist saying that these are mostly just contractors hired for this specific project bla bla bla

DICE is quickly banning cheaters in the Battlefield 6 beta, with a developer confirming that they are aware of the hacks.
They need to add an option for crossplay with other console players only. Otherwise I’ll definitely deactivating crossplay altogether. These cheaters on PC are already ruining this game and it’s still a few months from general release.
Developers should find a way that if they detect your cheating in a game, have it so none of your shots register against other players, you can't kill anyone. Bascially, you would be useless in that game LOL.

Halo veteran Marcus Lehto's studio, Ridgeline, will now be joined by DICE on the project.
Look its the telemetry guy !
PC optimization is good to hear
DICE definitely does the best job of scaling games. Most developers just cater to the lowest common denominator and don't bother to scale anything up outside basic fidelity settings. But there's only so far you can go before 360/PS3 are holding back the core design of the game. The sooner PS4/Xbox3 are the baseline for development, the better.
