The pretty much just talked about the exact same things as last year. Nothing to see here.

FTA:

"SmartGlass also apparently supports the use of a mobile device’s accelerometers. This could potentially be a very interesting feature if developers find a unique way to integrate it into their games."

"In Ninja Gaiden III, SmartGlass actually tracks gamer’s achievement progress. It also has the ability to pull in and search for YouTube videos that deal with sections of the game the player might be stuck on. It seems able to track exactly where the player is in the game at all times, and how they’re performing.

If Microsoft finds more ways to implement SmartGlass like this in hardcore titles and improve its speed and functionality, then it could become an interesting way to experience video games on the Xbox platform."

Sounds Interesting and opens the door for devs to use it in innovative ways.

Of course this is N4G and we are talking about Microsoft so this will be ignored and mocked.

Babytownfrolics....

Yeah because everybody on n4g are wiiu or Sony fans lol

Funny thing i also have a neogaf account and they say the same thing over there. Ever thought you see more sony fans and compliments towards sony in the last few years because sony walks the walk and doesnt just talk or give consumers mediocrity?

CEOSteveBallmer4724d ago

So microsoft indeed went to GDC, I thought they never showed anything but this will do for xbox fans. They have been quiet of late unlike in 2007 they always mock playstation gamers but the tables have turned. just like what nathan drake said, "Karma's a bitch"

According to the Blacklight devs, Microsoft's outlook to this upcoming gen is very different to Sony's and we all know what direction Sony has been heading with PS4 since Feb 20th. Which is,games games games, developers developers developers. God, I sound like Steve Ballmer.

Here's the source http://www.destructoid.com/...

It will be interesting to see Microsoft's reveal for the next Xbox and see how their ratio of ’gaming’ to ’entertainment’ provisions develop. What they need to do is open up their platform, providing innovation, strong focus on core games, free online and honestly, I'm there.
