Hm... Not sure how this got into the PS3 channel.. Says nothing in the article about coming to PS3. Wonder how this got approved.

Bioshock is an awesome game, hopefully the sequel will be even better. And maybe for the Ps3? XD (hey a guy can hope)

.....was a FANTASTIC game, had seriously crazy atmosphere, one of the best single player experiences i have ever had. The sequel is great news for all, if it comes to all consoles then great, more people can enjoy a truely remarkable franchise. Its a long way off but still its good to hear that there will be a follow up.

I think this one will make it to the PS3... maybe one of those delayed exclusive deals... unless Micro pays them off...

If you only have a PS3 & you ever get the chance to play this, you should jump on it. Awesome game.

As you noticed, no platforms were mentioned. This is more than likely to be developed on PLAYSTATION® 3. Be looking for the PS3 version to have superior frame rates, increased visuals to combine with the ergonomic design of the SIXAXIS and Dual Shock 3 controllers.

I hate the fact that it's going to have multiplayer, I would rather have those resources spent on making the single player the best It can and should be.

i can see it making the jump to ps3...the install base will be much larger than when the first was released...but who knows. ill be getting the PC version rather than the console version. im so horrible at FPS's with the analog :(

I reckon MS will try to get this exclusive for the 360/PC. Would be stupid to lose this game afterall, the first game was soo good.

that people identified with the x360. Personally i would love for it to come to the PS3 as i am a PS fan. However, this game should remain exclusive so that the devs would dev the best game they can. I may favor the PS but i am still a gamer in the end.

One of the best gaming experiences I have ever had on a console. The sequel will need to pull a rabbit out of the hat to be able to surpass the greatness of the first one.

this was GOTY, so dont think for 1 sec that MS will allow this game to go multiplat!! knowing MS I dont think you'll ever see bioshock, Mass effect, or gears on any other system even though MS doest OWN the IP's. well I think they do own the Gears ip!

Wasn't the rumor already announced that MS has paid a ton for Bioshock 2 exclusivity?

Since the first one never got a port so I doubt they are going to take the time to make new code for a PS3 version.

Bioshock atmosphere was pretty fabulous but there was a whole lot of stuff that made it less spectacular in believability terms - bad design choice throughout due to it's over complicated unbalance.I completed it with the good ending but by this point i really hadn't enjoyed the experience or believed the world i was in.Shame as it started off so completely brilliantly.I ended up feeling like i had played a game and that's surely not what was the designers intention.I would have rather watched Bioshock as a film and come out of it feeling much more satisfied.

No doubt get tons of disagrees for saying this but it is an overrated game.

Good exclusive to have though on 360

How PS3 fans seem excited that this and Mass Effect could possibly come out for the PS3, but when the first ones were exclusive to the 360 and were getting RAVE reviews adn GOTY, PS3 fans said the games were overrated and sucked.

I don't care what system it comes out on just bring it. My 360 is ready as well as my ps3.

Mass effect DOES suck. Bioshock is great. I have it on PC though =/ I could buy mass effect this year as well, but like I said, it sucks.

After a crappy, crappy, day, this makes me very happy.

Sorry for the PS3 fanboys, but is has been confirmed that Microsoft has Bioshock 1 and 2 exclusive for the Microsoft platform. That is PC and XBOX 360.

No PS3 version, just as you wanted Bioshock 1 you didn't get it. Get over it!

i think ps3 fanboys want theses games so can rub it in to the xbox fanboys.Most xbox owners (including non fanboys) loved these two games. Bioshock rules though 2009 is such a long wait..........=(

Oh, and Bioshock 2 is being developed. Awesome, it was (and still is) a great game. Just have to beat it with the new patch again and get that 100 point achievement. Almost there...

As a 360 owner second, but a gamer first, I hope the game goes to PS3.

As many people as possible should experience awesome games, and the original Bioshock definately fit into that category, so I can only hope the sequel/prequel does as well.

Also, it'd be cool if you guys got Mass Effect, too. That's another winner.

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.
