nintendo fans say the wii u is doing fine and that sales will dominate the chartz for wii u when the big exclusives are out in november. the sales are abysmal because only nintendo fans are willing to overlook all the flaws and spin everything thats a con about the console. the sales will continue to drop weekly as time goes by and might only flatline when there is some software to play over the next 8 months. i see the wii u selling less than a million more consoles by november and i believe that the xbox 360, ps vita, psp, ps3 xbox 720, and ps4 will all outsell the wii u over the christmas season.

i wish them all the luck because its going to be hard convincing people to get a wii u instead of a ps4 and xbox 720 this year and the next few years. nintendo fans say the wii u is amazing and theyll tell you at every corner that they are having fun (lol, trying to lie to themselves and others) which is just a euphemism which means they bought a rubbish console and are forcing themselves to like a garbage product.

Same rules apply to new consoles as they do to beer and Star Wars movies.

You have to ask why it does so well in the us ! (ms = us, + medias).

Ps3 should do even better worldwide (but 50 k more than 360 each week, start to be good now).

By the way, do you remember : "bububut the ps3 don't sell software"....now, it's first for hardware, and software.

IMO, the games. We know USA is CoD and Battlefield (FPS) world. X360 sells the best in the US because that's were its KEY and MAIN demographic is. Not that there is anything wrong with that. They play to their strengths.

In the beginning of the gen, Microsoft tried to get plenty of Japanese devs to support the console with exclusives and the like to gain that mass market, worldwide appeal. It did not go the way they planned, unfortunately.

Because Americans love to buy American products? Apple comes to mind as a premiere example. Anyways, hope the Wii U takes off soon, the more competition in this next generation market, the better off us consumers will be in the long run.

Yea, Nintendo need to drop that Wii U price like badly, because for it to be outsold by the PSP is abysmal. ;)

The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.

Riiiiight because people will just flock back to them for one or two games per year.

15+ years of bad performance is what they call irreparable in business. It is time for them to sell off the assets and get out of entertainment.
