Nintendo released a new mini Japanese Nintendo Direct on their Youtube channel today revealing a new application for the Nintendo 3DS. Flip Note Studio 3D, an upgraded version of the DSI application will be available on the Nintendo 3DS eShop this summer.

"If you're having a bad day, Kévin Gemin's Flipnote animations of bouncing, dancing pigeons are sure to cheer you up. What if Link was a pigeon?"

Nintendo of Japan have launched a new Youtube channel for their 3DS application, Flipnote Studio 3D. The channel seemingly highlights user videos submitted to Nintendo via the application itself.
The tool allows users to create stereoscopic 3D animations that can be exported into either a GIF or AVI format. These can then be shared with friends or even directly with Nintendo who has hosted several online competitions with set criteria for users to try to meet.

Even though it's a free gift, that's not stopping many from throwing their code straight onto eBay.
