DmC: Devil May Cry Review | GameBanana

GameBanana writes:

If you are a fan of the previous games, check this one out and you will see it's not Dante’s hairdo that makes the game awesome, and as for newcomers, you owe it to yourself to have this experience. Just make sure to buy all the previous installments afterwards.

The Butt hurt trolls that come out on DmC articles are hilarious. grow up, seriously. If you think this game is bad, you haven't played it, maybe 9/10 is over generous, sure, but 5/10? give me a break, butt hurt fanboy.

I never said the game was bad all I said it was nowhere near 9/10. I seen actual trolls who gave this game 3/10 and lower. This game obviously shouldn't be put in the same league as those terrible movie video games or some of those Kinect games that can easily get 3/10 or less. Unlike some people I actually did play the game(rented it). I loved the level design and the fact that Dante and Vergil didn't look like clones. I will admit the game had its moments. The wig scene did had me laughing

Thx for ASSuming that I was butthurt fanboy.

The AngryJoe review already convinced me this was a great game. He gave it a 7/10 said it wasnt a bad game but, has its flaws.

The game is good. And I personally agreed with about 80 percent of what he said.

the only things DmC lacked, IMO, were difficulty and a wider arrange of moves. The art style was a breath of fresh air. The dialogue was fell short at times but overall was very well presented. The bosses, while lacking some difficulty, were very unique and story centrec. The combat was FLUID at 30fps but it did have rare moments of staggering.

All in all if i were a reviewer i'd give it 7.5-8/10 its a solid game not LOLMAZING not ROFLOTERRIBAD. Its just plain GOOD.

ps why do DMC fans keep bringing up MGR? last i checked MG fans where just as pissed about MGR as DMC fans are about DmC. For the exact same reasons

You sound like you’re just a ton of fun to be around.

It’s been sitting in my backlog for a while now. One of the first games I wanted to try for this current gen due to the long load times of previous gen. I’ll get around to it soon!

One of the best, stylish, and fun action slasher on the system. You definitely should get to it, as soon as you can.

solideagle403d ago

they are taking way too much time with DMC6...

VersusDMC403d ago

The DMC5 team went on to make Dragons Dogma 2, the DMC director (3,4,5) left capcom to make an action game at another studio and the rumor is that a DMC remake is next...so i wouldn't hold my breath on DMC6.

Everytime its on sale I think about buying it but never do. I only played the orginal and somr of 3 so I guess that's part of it.
