Blizzplanet interviewed World of Warcraft game director Tom Chilton to discuss the features of the upcoming Patch 5.2 Isle of Thunder.
During the interview, Tom Chilton reveals that special feature Greg "Ghostcrawler" Street teased a few weeks ago on Twitter is meant to come out somewhere around Patch 5.4 -- and it seems Blizzard is working on Scalable dungeons. In short, classic World of Warcraft, Burning Crusade, and Wrath of the Lich King dungeons might be playable at level 90.
We already have a level 90 Scholomance and Scarlet Monastery. Those were manually enhanced. In this case, however, trash mobs and bosses will automatically scale to your character's level.
"We will probably see it in the 5.4 neighborhood if we are able to get it done in time. As far as hints a lot of players in the past have suggested that they be able to do older content so it’s probably something that goes along those lines." -- said Tom Chilton
