great article had a lot of good points!

backwards compatibility is important to me. my main reason is i have always donated my older gen systems to group homes and hospitals, like when the ps2 came out i gave away my ps1, etc i also gave a few E rated games along with the systems as well and for that reason backwards compatibility is a deal breaker for me.

i also like to buy new systems day 1 as i like to support the company and i like new tech, there is a reason why i get a new iphone every year.
