I was planning on getting a PS3 in March or April, now I am not. The only game that interests me that won't be on 360 is Lair and Heavenly Sword...on that entire list. The 360 was slow for a year it looks like the PS3 will also be slow for a year.

I don't see much on there that would make me get a ps3, especially since I already own a 360. The majority of those games are already on or will be on xbox by the time they are relased. It may look like a large launch, but there is absolutly nothing that stands out.

You said, that there is a lag of PS3 launch titles, just like there was a lag with the 360 launch titles, after taking a look at this list, even you must admit, there is no lag with the PS3 launch titles. We get great titles, right off the bat, be it mulitplatform or not.

As of 10:00 am TUESDAY PS3 PREORDERS BEGAN at Gamestop and EB... i snagged 3 :) and yes most are sold out after 1st hr even 30mins

As 360 owners we have a lower fee to get started ($400.00) and most of the games on the list above are multi platform. So it would not make allot of since for me to get too exited. No offence.

No I do not want to back track into the price argument that is old we know all the points that could be made there. But allot of 360 owners really have no need to pick up a PS3 unless your a die hard fan or just want to own all them both right away.

I have said on numerous occasions that I will pick up a PS3 when it is worth it. Right now I'm not impressed by the hype but I am impressed with the great launch line up.

They showed me the same list of launch games. But the odds of all of them making it at the launch is low. I figure about 20 games will make the launch. With most of them being multi platform games. But non the less. If you don't have a 360, its a good looking launch lineup. But if you do have a 360, there are only a couple games really.

...this generation there won't be as many exclusive games to tip the scale for fans one way or the other. Of the 45 or so games on that list, only 14 are exclusive - and a couple of those might show up on 360 in the near term. Used to be that the only selling point Sony had was "more games" - but now, those who can only afford one console will really have to ask themselves: "Do I want to play Resistance or Gears of War?" "Do I want to play MGS4 or Halo3?" "Do I want to play Mass Effect or Final Fantasy" - tough choices....indeed.

The people stating this already own a next gen platform and there is no point in buying a brand new next gen system for the same games. I can see that point clearly. Me personally have been taking the wait and see approach and enjoying the new games coming out that I enjoy on the PS2, PC, and psp. I can't wait til phantasy star and FFXII. My gaming preferences is what chose my last system and I am waiting to see where the games I like end up.

The comment about not buying a system for 1 game makes sense. You should never as a gamer buy a system for one game unless your just a fan of that game and can get plenty of fun out of the game. It's silly to make a war over stupid consoles because people don't want it for 1 game or 2 when they already own a next gen system.

Most of you had already decided pocket wise or game wise which system you were going to get or might get. I am still getting the PS3 because it has the games I like to play on it coming for it (as far as I seen in the news anyways).

That game list is still a good list but they are right most are multi-platform, so reitterating my point whats the point for a couple games when you own a X360.

I count 6 games (i might of miscounted) that are unique to the PS3 and most of what I want isn't out until March. So if I get one at launch cool, and if not cool. I still have plenty of other games I can play until march with no problems. Multi-platform games I see plenty that I could play at launch that would be cool to me.

Did anyone notice, they said 59.99 for each title on that list? Well...aint Sonic there too? Hmmm....I dont know, but that list doesnt seem 100% right just right there. Or can it be priced differently? Not meant to be a flamer, just a curious observation.

I can see if you own a xb360 allready, I would wait for a pricedrop ...or till [put in musthave title here] the FF vs XIII and WK Story gets released.

HyperBear, im canadian too, eh. :) but ya, I cant believe Motorstorm isnt a launch title, this sucks. I hope that there are a lot of PS3's to go around when that puppy comes out.

I pre-ordered my PS3 on a whim today. I just happened to drive by the store, and there was only one person waiting. So I dropped 600 bones. I didn't even really care what games were coming out. But when I look at this list, Resistance is the only one that is lighting my fire. I know there will be plenty of awesome games coming out eventually, but, as the point has already been made, I can get or already have those games on my 360.

I am actually stoked about the Blu-Ray at this point. I finally broke down and got a 50 inch plasma with the HDMI input, so I cannot wait to see what that looks like. Here is to me keeping my fingers crossed for more launch titles.

One thing is that Japanese will always put their best when they love something . Japanese musicians have shown numerous of times that they still have lots of soul in them and often display respect for the art and the craft . I’ll listen to some Japanese music barely understanding the lyrics but the singing ; the rapping , the guitars riff everything is so well done . I hope they always stay true to who they are because if I’m real with you guys Japanese music and musicians a really some of my favorites .

The industry is very risk averse. It's been that way for quite some time. You get a few people still bucking convention, but it's not the industry standard we had that died off somewhere in the seventh generation.

The idea sounds interesting, but at the end of the day, I don't have it in me to play yet another Assassin's Creed game. A better move than Yasuke, I would say.

Imagine cancelling the one game that actually would've put you in the good graces of gamers, but instead you create even MORE controversy on top of the giant amount you already had.
