To think that Bioware at some point was capable of doing games like this, you see those characters and remember them like good old friends, and now check ME Andromeda, Anthem, Veilguard etc and wonder what the hell happened.

Based on one narratively fitting ending in Mass Effect 3, Prothean squadmate Javik is highly unlikely to return in the next Mass Effect game.
He was one of my least favorite characters. I wish they would have done the Proths different.

I hate these trailers... well it's a love/hate thing really. They get me excited for the new content and then after downloading it I play a couple matches and have a terrible time. After not having played for a while, I'll get into a game only to find that the weapons and characters I used when I last played have somehow been even FURTHER nerfed into oblivion. It's also likely that the enemies have received some additional buffs in my absence.
Nevertheless, I'll struggle through a couple games, even if I get thrust into matches in which my teammates seem oblivious to the objectives so that I can work on acquiring credits until I eventually have enough saved up to purchase a pack and hopefully get one of the new characters, or at the very least maybe one of the new weapons.
X amount of matches later and I can now afford an expensive pack. Here's hoping I'll unlock a new character!
Oh, I've just unlocked rubbish... nice. And then I will repeat this whole ordeal a few times until I open whatever amount of disappointing it takes for me to get fed up and start playing a different game again.
So anyways, yeah, I'd like to play as these new characters. MAYBE I'll unlock a couple relatively quickly, not getting my hopes too high though.
EDIT: Just for the sake of not allowing this post to be COMPLETELY negative, I do think the one thing Bioware has done with Mass Effect 3 that all fans of the series (pre-3 ending or otherwise) should be able to appreciate is the fact that they have continued to roll out content for the multiplayer FREE OF CHARGE. Yeah, it's a real pain trying to unlock stuff, but they kept it all free and I've been pleasantly surprised with this.
