Xbox Evolved writes: Enter Turok and a new direction for the series on a new generation of consoles. Now you are Joseph Turok, an American Indian in the future. Turok has always been a man's man, however, he's no longer the true lone wolf; he is instead a military man and a member of the Elite Special Forces division of the now common Space Marines. The game is billed as Epic in scope and story.
The co-op missions are different from the single player ones and they are also harder due to the ramped up number of enemies but there just aren't enough missions to keep you coming back for more. Add in the fact that it can be hard to find enough people to fill out a game and you will tire of quickly.

After releasing remasters of all three original Turok games, starting with the first two games in 2021 and then Turok 3 in 2023, Nightdive Studios has quietly updated the first Turok game with a native PS5 update.
Beyond the bug fixes and general cleaning-up that comes with most patches these days, the big thing about the PS5 version for the original Turok is that if you have a TV that can support it, you’ll be able to play Turok at 120FPS now.

The Turok series has been languishing without a new title for more than a decade. It's about time we got a reboot.
I'm all for it, I loved the originals... I just don't think, just like w the original Prey, that the main character can survive in this current political climate. Native characters seem untouchable at the moment. I think it can be shown the right respect, but there's always someone getting upset about something these days, they would find a way to cancel it.
Honestly, I would prefer if they just ported/remastered Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion to modern platforms. So we could have access to the "original 3 games". Because I don't see how to really reboot Turok. It's a product of its time being a mixture of platforming/fps and puzzle.
And I really don't see all those elements being preserved on a Reboot.
I would prefer Dino Crisis remake from Capcom. Still, a remade Turok would get my attention.
Forgets about the 2008 reboot*
I'd rather have a sequel to Turok 3, tbh.
We unfortunately do not have enough quality dino games. Theres Horizon but they're robots, and Monster Hunter that I can only think of. I'd like to see Turok make a comeback some day.
