I think the Wii U is over shadowed by the next gen hype and this is normal. Nintendo did not significantly beef up their hardware from last time and from what I heard, these consoles that are coming up have a lot going for them. Except maybe the xbox with the forced Kinect.

I like how people defending Ninny try and use the initial 360 sales numbers as a crutch to suggest ninny will improve meaningfully.

Those were different times, fps was just coming into its own, Xbox live was established and was critical in increasing hardcore gamers.

And then there's that. Hardcore gamers buy games. They buy them often. They buy multiple games monthly. Ninny catered to casuals for so long they now only have them for their sales hopes. Fail

Personally I think every time he opens his mouth about any major company Sony/MS/Nin that they feel it can harm their business. Have their Lawyers contact Patcher's boss. It is the US. and you can sue for just about anything?

If Nintendo was smart they would make a console version mmo style open world Pokemon game it would be a system seller for sure. Also if they were to acquire the rights to publish a new Star Wars Battlefront, i swear i would buy a Wii U right now if those two games existed.

It wouldn't be the first time Nintendo doesn't do to good, but they are nowhere near in danger of becoming a "software only" company. $11 bullion in cash doesn't include any assets, just pure cash... Either way it goes, I don't think that the Wii U will be a failure this gen; maybe not as successful as the Wii, but will not be a failure nonetheless...

I think that units will start moving when Nintendo actually shows up. NSMB aside, to me it looks like they're still kind of sleeping on the software front. I think that once they really start revving the engine, we'll see some positive momentum.

I think Nintendo will have some interesting stuff for E3 this year. E3 13 is going to be the most competitive(exciting) E3 in a pretty long time. I'm sure Nintendo is well aware of that, seeing as how they teased E3 content last month.

Again, pricing is still all over the place, the UK is far worse than the US. £75 ($100) Switch 2 games didn't last long. Metroid Prime 4 on the Switch dropped to £25, on Switch 2, £30. Games on card will probably remain high, maybe rise in price to pull back what's lost on cheaper digital games. Yoshi on Switch 2, cheapest £50. Switch games on Ebay £200+, regional exclusives, X amount of versions, game pricing is still battering our wallets.

Lowering the price of games that don’t sell much. For example, Microsoft says it gives you two licenses when you buy a game for PC & Xbox, but that doesn't apply to Minecraft. Let’s not be naïve. Will apply to Zelda or Mario Kart?

Good cuz it feels a bit steep cuz you’re already paying the often seen +$10 switch 2 tax on an already full price game, that is sometimes cheaper on ps5/xbox and runs better on those consoles.

I’m not hating on switch 2 btw. I love it and use it almost every day, but it’s not a cheap machine to operate.

So a game that was 50 digital or physical a day before becomes 50 digital and 60 physical and people somehow think they're getting something. SMH.
