Bulletstorm, I actually liked the gameplay but the atrocious writing and characters made me despise the game by the end of it.
Thanks to a bustling mod community on Steam, Gearbox's Aliens: Colonial Marines actually has a stellar multiplayer experience to offer these days.

What we need is a complete overhaul mod. AI, level design, set-pieces half as impressive as the demo...
I wouldn't expect much more in the way of mods. Basic cosmetics and config stuff is about all that can be done without access to the right files. Forget about content.
I don't know if mods can save this train wreck of a game.
