Capcom published the official website for Resident Evil 0 for the Wii, and with it come the first screenshots of this new Wiimake. Game looks exactly the same as the GameCube opus. The new artwork just looks horrible though...

Capcom is currently working on a remake as well as a film adaptation of its survival horror game, Resident Evil Zero, based on a new rumor.
Code Veronica is by far and wide the one title in the pipeline most deserving of a remake. With Wesker's "introduction" into the REmake verse in 4, Code Veronica makes the most sense to do next because it's where Wesker is most prominent next to 5.
But for reasons unknown, they really don't want to do Code Veronica. Also, Steve direly needs a redemption arc just like Carlos and Ashley got and to some extent Luis. Steve was insufferable, it's time to make him not so through the remake treatment.
Then i hope it is playable in coop like the OG one.

I know, that’s why i wished for playable coop worth 2players. The bases are done with the OG game, like sharing items ammo etc…
I was expecting RE5 next, but I'm not going to complain about RE0, I've enjoyed all the remakes so far.
RE5 Remake is a bit debatable. Its not that old as others and can be considered fairly modern in its structure.
Also, if RE5 gets a remake, then only RE6 will be left, as the only mainline RE game before RE7, that'll be without a Remake. And how do you tackle/do you even remake the RE:6 ~ is another set of questions.
2026 is RE's 30th anniversary. So either RE:0 or RE:1 are better candidates for that celebration.
Then RE:X or RE:10 will be targeting 35th anniversary @ 2031.
It’s time for a reboot make a new start for example with Barry, hunk or better yet Ada side of their story.

Says he's such a fan (like they all do) and decides to merge two games into one and miscast so many of them. Jill and Leon were f****** awful, like even Leons personality was just completely wrong, he looked more like Luis from RE4.
I have zero excitement for another Resident Evil movie, I haven't even watched the last 2 or so movies.
We all do but before that i want Dino Crisis 2 on Ps Premium! I hope that happens soon.
The first Dino Crisis is still fun, I've been playing it on my PS4, aside from the tank controls, I think it holds up well.

i just hope that its abit more interesting than the og. i liked it, but the tank controls and the menu etc just ..

The Resident Evil Zero and Resident Evil Code Veronica remakes will reportedly not be as "ambitious" as Resident Evil 4 Remake.
Maybe they are talking about lenght? Because RE4 Remake is definitely larger than the first two modern remakes.
I really really hope they don't think it's "ambitous" to actually make the game a full game
Understandable to me. RE4 is one of their most important title's compared to these. People like to complain about anything. Be happy RE4 turned out as good as it did…
Sorry but these titles walked so RE4 could run. Bottom line is they are longer games and capcom doesn't wanna set the expectations high. Which is disappointing.
Interesting. I would imagine it actually requires a lot more of work in terms of rewriting the story.
While I hated how they destroyed Nemesis in the RE3 remake, CV could really benefit from a major story overhaul. From the super corny opening action pumped sequence of Claire running from bullets to Jar Jar Binks level of writing of Steve character.
Steve is in dire need of remake redemption treatment. It worked for Carlos and Ashley, and made Luis better too.
It's either like RE2 remake or they are keeping the static camera and redoing it in RE engine.
I think it will be like RE 2 remake and the not ambitious part is not making big set pieces or making it open with side quests like RE4 and Village.

I mean come on did PS3 owners really want a Lost Planet port ?? and from wat i been reading a very bad one at that :/ and now this a port of a port to the Wii only for Japan :/ Shouldnt they really be putting all their time and effort in getting RE5 out to us ??
Capcom if you really wanna us to play the old RE games again then Port 0,1,2,3 & 4 over to 360/PS3 with updated HD Graphics thats wat i would really like to see.

Why are the even wasting their time making remakes of the same games we already have for the gamecube? If i wanted to play RE0 in my Nintendo Wii, then I just pop in my gamecube copy. Please give us new games, or give us some sequels. If you guys really, really want to make RE remakes, atleast give us a remakes of RE2,RE3,RE-C:VX, with the upgraded graphics of RE0.
capcom's kinda crazy now, releasing the crappy ps3 port of lost planet, re-releasing re4 and re0 for the wii (wiimote? omg innovation for re! shake it baby) and after seeing sf4 last year i fear for it *shivers*
props for zack & wiki though awesome wii game and let's just hope they don't screw up re5 (please capcom the world needs neegro-zombie killing!) oh and i won't say anything about bionic commando (the 3d one, not the 2d remake that's all kinds of awesome)
