But is the cheap and cheerful cross-buy download a steal at £1.59/$2.99, or is it merely fool’s gold?"

Following in the hurried footsteps of endless runner Ratchet & Clank: Before the Nexus and match three adventure Knack’s Quest, the platform holder has now tossed Sly Cooper spin-off Bentley’s Hackpack onto iOS and Android devices."
Ridge Dermody writes: "All three minigames feel like Sly-themed versions of games we all know and love, from R-type to Geometry Wars. During Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time, these hacking missions were fun when you encountered them, but are they really enough to support a game of their own? ... Ultimately, when you consider that you get the PS3 and Vita versions for only $2.99, this game is fine. We all knew it couldn’t be a masterpiece. If you played these games in Thieves In Time and really want to play more of them, feel free. Enjoy yourself; you know what you’re getting into. But Bentley’s Hackpack can’t really be recommended for anybody else."
Destructoid: "If you're a retro gamer, you've already played other titles that present the core precepts these mini-games provide, but Bentley's Hack Pack has an interesting enough framework to actually compel you to keep going, with a bit of the ol' Sly charm to boot. For a few bucks, it's worth taking the plunge."
$2.99 for Cross-Buy PS3 and PSV versions? All of Bentley's Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time hack mini-games, but these are fully realized arcade versions with High Score Online Rankings?
Hell yes it's worth it. Some of those hacks were among my favorite moments in the game. I gladly spent $2.99 and installed it on both my PS3 and Vita. Trophies don't hurt either.
