Anybody that follows my twitter (which is to say, nobody except for personal friends and robots attempting to sell me pornography) knows that I have had quite a few unkind words to say about the game’s design choices. Nearly every time I turn on the game and find myself getting more accustomed to the game’s many flaws, it does something new to baffle me. Between Fi’s constant flow-breaking interruptions to state and re-state the obvious, the muddy motion controls that only seem to work nine times out of ten, and the game’s constant efforts to remind me that I am a lonely nerd holding a controller instead of a rad-as-heck sky elf man adventurer, I can’t help but wonder about the recently announced upcoming Wii U Zelda game. So far all that we know about it is that the game will be non-linear, it will have co-op online multiplayer, and that Eiji Aonuma, the man upon which most of Skyward Sword’s problems are attributed, will be directing it.

How about the original Legend of Zelda remade with the Echoes of Wisdom engine. Maybe throw in added dungeons, or expand the map to make the game longer than the original.

There are some video game locations which hit you right in the feels. Are these the most emotional places in gaming to visit? Jump Dash Roll counts down 9 destinations in today's feature.
Is the OoT screenshot a comp of hyrule field with the Windows Vista desktop layered over the foreground?

Link should have a voice in The Legend of Zelda Movie. While he mostly stays quiet in the games, he canonically does speak but usually holds back on expressing his thoughts. In a movie format, it is better for the character and the story itself that Link speaks.
I just hope it's not a bunch MCU Snarky McJokeface dialog. Started playing veilguard free on PSN (would not recommend) and it's a perfect example of how dialog in contemporary entertainment is garbage.
''Get er done!''
I wonder how many death stares I will get for saying, I've never played a zelda game....looks around awkwardly.
Aren't all Zelda games open world?
if nintendo really wants to partner up with third paties for collaborations, then if i was them i'd get bethesda to do zelda blizzard to either do pokemon mmo or rts pikmin, and either the cod or halo teams to do metroid.
I totally agree with the article. There's way too much hand holding in recent Zeldas. Hopefully with the classic style out of order dungeons will come the same sense of exploration and less explanation.
